Famitsu Sales: 9/16/19 – 9/22/19

Switch Lite launches strong with The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of September 16, 2019 to September 22, 2019.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Switch was the top selling title and new release of the week, moving 141,375 retail copies. It launched alongside the Switch Lite hardware, which debuted at 177,936 sales.

Also new this week, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for Nintendo Switch debuted at 11,237 retail sales. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered for PlayStation 4 did not charge in the top 10.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 239,740 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 24,857 units, and the 3DS family sold 1,687 units.
