hmmm another code is the second best scoring game for that issue, just one point below Shin Sangoku Musou 4 (PS2, Koei): 9 / 9 / 9 / 9 - (36/40)

Chaos Field was a Dreamcast game, wasn't it? Anyone here check it out?

Yep. But I thought it was relesed recently on DC. We sure that's a "GC" game reviewed on Fam and not the "DC" one?

Another Code: 2tsu no Kioku (NDS, Nintendo): 9 / 10 / 8 / 8 - (35/40)

Sounds good. Can't wait for this and Gyakuten Saiban DS (Can't wait to play one in English and without a dictionary in-hand).

Need for Speed Underground Rivals (PSP, EA): 7 / 7 / 7 / 7 - (28/40)

Not expecting much from this one. It'll be interesting to see how it sells in Japan.

Metal Slug 4 (Xbox, SNK Playmore): 5 / 7 / 6 / 6 - (24/40)

Should I be surprised?

My first thought was the PS2 version being canned as well. I do believe something like RE4 could sell better on the PS2 when compared to the Cube, but stuff like Viewtiful Joe, Killer 7, etc. will/do sell better on Cube. I guess these kind of games are just too crazy/different for the normal folks. :) Of course, I'm basing my entire opinion off the fact that the Viewtiful Joe series has sold better on the Cube, and that's about it. :lol

I just preordered the SSM4 Treasure Box from NCS. Quite expensive, but I'm a sucker for limited editions, and I _know_ that if I don't get the Lu Bu figure and artbook now, I'm gonna scour Ebay for them later. Whatever else is in there is just a bonus.

Killer 7 has been delayed until summer. I don't think it's any more important than that.

You know, it is really cool that Capcom is delaying there games. Hell, they aren't making much money but they still want there games to have high quality. Re4 and Minish Cap are the 2 best games of 2005 so far IMO.

Too bad about Nintendo. Releasing simple/mini games that get old fast and charge full price for them.

You mean to say.. bomb bomb? That Another Code score is very good and I'm happy for Nintendo. Finally something new and it scores okay. Only about 4 games got above 30 this issue and I'm surprised one of them is DEF JAM... Go EA .. I kid I kid.

My Home o Tsukurou 2! Shou (PS2, Marvelous): 7 / 6 / 5 / 5 - (23/30)

I take it that that's a typo

Shin Sangoku Musou 4 (PS2, Koei): 9 / 9 / 9 / 9 - (36/40)

HA HA HA HA HA!

Who is saying rehash now, bitches! :D Two years development time versus one and this is the result you get!

At least Koei's money earned on the series over the years hasn't gone to waste. :p

Now, is this a "the game isn't very good" score or a "we hate whitey games" score? EA stuff usually gets 7's.
Recently EA games have been making it above 30 regularly though.

Def Jam: Fight for NY (PS2, EA): 8 / 7 / 8 / 8 - (31/40)

Wow that's impressive. I'm not sure how much appeal DJ:FfNY has over there though.

EDIT:
I completely missed the DW5 score... good news.... US version is due out next month right?

This is an extremely funny comment. Dynasty Warriors gets bashed by the Meatbags of GAF for being repetitive and unfun, but when the new game in the series is top scorer for the week it is fashionable to compare other games to DW5 for being just below the top dog. :D

I can see Another Code being like ICO; a critical darling, but a barely average seller. Hopefully I'm wrong though. I'd like to see adventure games make a comeback.

Dynasty Warriors 5 sounds AWESOME. Can't wait for it. :D

I hope Need For Speed Rivals turned out okay; was planning on importing it next week.

(Metal Slug 4)

Should I be surprised?

Well, we all should expect a low score from these mags anyway, but MS4 actually DESERVES it. :p The game wasn't very good. I heard Metal Slug 5 was better, and when I got to play it, I found that while better than MS4, it still didn't touch MS1-3 IMO.
