Rest of my systems all had to have at least games I want to play regularlly before I got on to them. Typically I always nintendo systems at launch out of habit not loyalty but wii is the system I haven't even desired that. All my niche systems end up with more stuff than my mainstream consoles.

Never, no game on no system will outweight the money spend which I could also spend on several games on the systems I already own.

I bought a Nintendo 64 just for Super Mario 64, i remember playing it at a friends house and i fell so in love with it i just had to had a N64.

Then later an Xbox for Splinter Cell 1, i even bought it before having an Xbox.

I did it for the Dreamcast because of Soul Calibur. I did it for Xbox because of KotOR. I did it for the PSX and Metal Gear Solid.

I'm going to sometime buy a 360 for Mass Effect.

So... I still do it to this day. I've never really been disappointed.

...and don't tell my brother... but MGS4 might make me do it for the PS3.

I was interested in a lot of games for the PS2, but it was first MGS3 trailer that finally pushed me over the edge.
