Sheva: What's all this nonsense about evolution and being worthy?
What does she [Excella Gionne] mean?
Chris: Something about a Philosopher's Stone and selecting DNA...
It doesn't matter what she says: she's just a terrorist. End of story.
We can't risk Uroboros getting out of here and infecting people.

That was true leadership. Sheva trying to make sense of words coming from a mislead psychopath as well as the second greatest threat to the planet; only exceeded Wesker. He answers and wisely steers her directly past the madness Sheva was obviously letting infect her mind, if only momentarily. He doesn't let his partner slip even in the slightest of ways - but instead guides her towards an advantageous mindset and the objective at hand

That's what I love about Resident Evil 5, Chris Redfield is in his absolute prime as a soldier and leader. Unflinching, doesn't compromise, steadfast in pushing ahead always and remaining focused. Overall the man wasn't going to be stopped and it shows all throughout the game. We need more characters like that in the series. In Resident Evil 6,
Jake
had similar exemplary conduct as a leader in his own ways, and I'd argue
Piers
as well

i always thought the 4 was the best. After playing 6 I kinda thought damn, this is heading in an awful direction and gave up with the series totally.

I will revisit it someday.
4 was okay to me, 5 is fun in co-op, 6 is awful in every imaginable way. 7 takes completely different turn after the 6 and goes back to horror roots just a bit differently and is actually a good entry in the series, not perfect, I have some complains to it, but it's bazillion miles better than 6. Remake of 2/3 are very worthy trying especially if you can get both discounted in a bundle, because 3 has so so value, 2 is damn good, I highly recommend RE2 of 2019. Then REmake remastered is another must.

It's really hard to choose from the ones in RE4. Aside from the usual "Your right hand comes off?" and "No thanks bro." the intro itself features one of my favourites from the game... "I'm sure you guys didn't just tag along to sing kumbaya at some boyscout bonfire... then again, maybe you did."

Man, I love RE4 Leon. Coolest bloke ever.

Thank you for that, next round of sales on ps4 network I will definitely have a look.

RE2make has some fantastic lines from Marvin, like this whole conversation with Marvin but especially the "I'm givin' you an order rookie!" line:

In the original trailer the cinematography is even better for the line, the trailer is fucking amazeballs.

I think 5 is absolute gold mine, when it comes to dialogues. Everything is ridiculously over the top.
The right to be god is now mine.

Also DC Douglas made amazing Wesker.

Bring back RE5-II pls.

Also this cutscene is masterpiece of cinematography:

Shindler's list of video game cutscenes.

Too bad the cutscene sound quality is dogshit.

Resident Evil 6

Father of Liz: My daughter! She's all alone! If we don't do something...
Leon S. Kennedy: (puts hand to man's mouth to quiet him) Alright, I get it. But if you don't keep it down, you wont live to save her. You understand?
Father: *Nods yes, now more wittingly understanding the situation*
Father: *Worryingly looks at pic of daughter* "Liz..."
Leon: Is that your daughter?
Father of Liz: *Nods yes*
Leon: All right, let's find her.
Helena Harper: Leon we don't have time to--
Leon: (interrupts mid-sentence) We're making the time.

I'll post just one:

Wesker (in mercenaries mode): "it was in your best interest to assist me"

Barry has the best lines.
“I thought you... the MASTER of unlocking.... could use it!”
“You were almost a Jill sandwich.”
“I hope this isn’t Chris’ blood.”
“What the HELL is this place!?”

"Jill! Heh heh, don't scare me!"
"That's what I was going to say, aren't you supposed to be going over the first floor Barry?"
"Yeah, you're right. But just take a look at THIS!"
"It's Forrest! Oh my COD!"
