I want this to be real. I used to follow my wife about 5 feet behind in the streets of NYC to see what her life was like when I wasn't around and almost got into a couple fist fights. People can be straight up awful to women on the streets. So, this made me feel good.

She doesn't "have" to do anything, but getting injured over your sense of pride is pretty dumb. There are recourse to someone actually physically assaulting you like in the video without resorting to property damage and running off hoping they don't follow.

And yeah, the video is likely staged or 100% fake. The guy's channel does not inspire confidence.

The drivers indeed were scum, but the van looked to be company owned, so I am sure that the drivers just laughed as they suffered no harm when the mirror was broken off. If the owner asks them about the busted mirror, they will just tell the owner that they have no idea what happened to it.

Motorbike guy goes hella fast till he catches up with her, then the guys in the van yelling loud enough so you could hear them on a gopro, then after it was all over, the bike follows the girl slowly enough to "catch" the escalation.

Lots of motorcyclist have go pros now, for insurance purposes. Thats not really the most out there aspect of this.

If this is real then good on her! Ripped that mirror right off. While not completely fragile they're not that bolted down. They break and can be knocked off with limited force and she clearly had the motivation at the time to do it. Even if its stage it's still a good example of what women go through. Even worse because of what the asshole is doing with the van.
