I can confidently say this type of graphical prowess is not possible on 8th gen. Nothing else exclusive to the system has shown anything like this thus far.

What? Lol no. The first part (the actual combat) has already being done (and quite better) on Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story on a DS. The rest is flashy cutscenes.

Pass what you're smoking. This blows XV out of the water. It doesn't look like a significant step from XV.
Looks nowhere as good as FF16It doesn't look like a significant step from XV.

Spoiler for you, majority of hardcore gamers in here have both a pc and a ps5.This isn’t coming to PC at launch so you’ll get a lot of salt boys upset.
I don't think so, bayo 3 had kaijou battles and from the feebacks i readed, it was the less loved part of the game.do people still want nonsense battles like this? its not appealing in the slightest
Why?I can confidently say this type of gameplay and graphical prowess is not possible on 8th gen
Myself included. ShhhhhSpoiler for you, majority of hardcore gamers in here have both a pc and a ps5.
Shhhh, don't tell this secret to anyone.

It looks way better than those other PS5 games. It can't be a next-gen game when it is powered by PS4-era graphics technology, only allowed to reach these heights due to the power of the PS5. Same with Demon's Souls, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart or Horizon: Forbidden West.
The original, pre-downgrade, Project Athia teaser not only looks better but it is also one of the very few things I'd qualify as a true next-gen showcase.
Bayonetta 3 also had Kaiju fights and they sucked just as much as FF16 summon fights.Asura's Wrath....
And that speaks of the skill and craftmanship of Yoshi-P's team, but the tech powering the game is very reminiscent of the PS4 era, with no fancy PS5-only stuff as it would have been an extensive RT implementation or a Nanite-equivalent for the geometry. It is more of a refinement than revolution in that regard, which is only natural for a game that began development 7 years ago, likely with cross-gen in mind.It looks way better than those other PS5 games.
Its a travesty what happened to project athia.
RIP.It looks way better than those other PS5 games.

If this is next gen gameplay then that’s gonna be a sad generation for non-zoomies.
The numbers really bother me. All those gold numbers popping up like that makes me feel like im in a casino or on a mobile game. I've played tons of RPG's so its not just about the #'s..but the colors they choose to use just make an otherwise beautiful scene look comical in a sense.Quick time events and numbers on the screen , sure didnt do that last gen
