What film scenes do you think had some of the best music that perfectly captured the mood of what was going on, and in most cases evoked emotions that you otherwise would not have felt if it had been a different song, or nothing at all.
Song: John Powell - Dark Phoenix's Tragedy
Scene: Dark Phoenix vs. Professor X
Movie: X-Men: TLS
The movie in it's entirety is a different argument all together, but this scene was brilliantly pieced together, and the takes off right as the professor is being lifted from his chair like a ragdoll. The deep percussions make something as simple as Jean standing up from a chair seem frightening.

Song: John Williams - Light of the Force
Scene: Vader's funeral pyre
Move: ROTJ
Luke standing infront of the fire pit watching Vader's armor burn. The force theme kicks in as we get a close up of his face, all of it signaling..."it's finally over".
Song: John Murphy - In the house - In a Heartbeat
Scene: Jim breaks back into the mansion to save Selena, and Hannah.
Move: 28 Days Later
The music makes Jim's transformation from a helpless victim to a coldblooded killer even more unsettling. Not much to say there.
