Square Enix has opened the Final Fantasy 35th anniversary website in English and Japanese.

The Final Fantasy series will celebrate its 35th anniversary on December 18, 2022. The first Final Fantasy launched for Famicom on December 18, 1987 in Japan.

Should indicate XVI's Spring unveiling is tomorrow.

Outside of that, Kitase did say they would be unveiling VII-R Part 2 by the end of the year, so that'll be one of the other titles. Fun times ahead for FF this year!

FFVII Remake did restore a little faith I have in the series, even though it wasn't an original entry. I'm maintaining zero expectations for FFXVI though.

I'd like to see at least a teaser of Part 2. I have some hope it will be released in 2023. But some people say it would only come out after XVI is out...
