The hours of playthrough have varied between People. No doubt, there's a lot of People rushing through this. For what reason, I don't know.

Actually, I think it's pretty accurate. I was deliberate about avoiding spoilers so please take this with a grain of salt, but from my understanding the game's pacing and structure will be different from a typical Final Fantasy game in a sense that there is much less padding. From that perspective, 25 hours is lot if you're spending it doing something meaningful. Last of Us is like 15 hours long and I doubt anybody would call it a short game. Depends on how these hours are spend. I think a lot of people have this stigma about JRPG having to be 50-100 hours long, but there a lot of shorter games like Ys or Nier that are plenty long for what they're trying to achieve.

This feels somewhat amateur compared to the FFXIII final trailer. It's strangely cut and doesn't really build towards anything.

Damn, that trailer is still so fucking nuts. I'm almost holding my breath during the whole last 45 seconds. The CG, the art direction, just completely insane.

XIII's still easily my favorite.

Rest asured my friends, for many this game will deliver what you were hoping for, i'm 8 hours in and loving it.. in fact might be one of the best games this Gen for me.
