Final Fantasy XIII-2 Feb DLCs: Serah/Noel Costumes, Sazh Gambling DLC

That's it? No story content? For someone that has 100% the game, these new DLC has no meaning to me. I would've bought the Noel outfit, but now, there isn't a point with the game finished and done. Guess I'll be saving $8 this time. :) Also, Sazh joining my party does no good with the game 100%, now does it?

Wow. Both outfits are great, but I'm not sure if I'd ever actually spend money on DLC costumes.

I'm disappointed that the Sazh "story" DLC is apparently limited to Serendipity and seems to just be about the DLC card game, but if finishing it adds Sazh to my party, then dammit, I'll give Square my money...

There is another casino game in the pack as well but it has not been revealed yet. So you are getting Sazh's story and 2 expansions to the casino for $5.

I agree, I'm taking my sweet time getting the remaining fragments, I have only 60 or so.
I think Serah's costume is adorable. Noel's is so much much better than his original costume, he's like a chibi Caius.

Hmm. I guess I'll need to know how long it is then. I have no need for gil. So the card games as I said really don't interest me. :) But if it has cutscenes mixed in, I'll bite. Still need more info.

Square Enix has confirmed a western release for the recently announced Final Fantasy XIII-2 downloadable content.

The first of the content – new outfits – sees Serah slip into Beachwear and Noel suit up in his Spacetime Guardian outfit, given to him by the goddess Etro. They’ll be sold together for $2.99 / 240 Microsoft Points.

The second piece of content – dubbed ‘Sazh: Head or Tails?’ – is Final Fantasy XIII-2‘s first downloadable episode. Players will take control of Sazh, one of the main party members in Final Fantasy XIII, and venture into the Serendipity casino, where two new games, “Chronobind” and “Serendipity Poker,” are now playable. Once the episode is complete, Sazh can join Serah and Noel’s party. The package will sell for $4.99 / 400 Microsoft Points.

Both sets of content will arrive on February 28.

The problem with the costumes is that they should have been available at launch. Japanese players are the most affected since their launch was in December... are people really going to play the game all over again just because new costumes are out?

The Sazh story being left out of the retail game is just annoying at best. Especially when that NPC tells you that they're still building parts of the casino, ugh.

Pricing sounds good. 3 for BOTH costumes and 5 bucks for two new casino games and Sazh. Hope there are new items to play for.

serah's costume from 13 was great except for her gigantic feet. will definitely buy it if it ever comes out for dlc. this sazh chapter is definitely bought too, especially if he joins your party as a synergist (i hope)

I agree with you about the constumes, if they wanted to go down the route of 3 euro costumes they should have been available at launch or a week from it.

Regarding Sazh, while I guess it was always planned to have him as DLC scenario I get the feeling that the team actually made it after the game was released. They knew they wanted Sazh casino DLC but didn't get around to it till now. Same with the Lightning story. Also I guess it would disturb the flow of the main game.

I guess I am quite lucky that I can't play this now and will be getting it in the summer, so I can have all the colliseum DLC and scenario DLC already released.

Also SE said something about free updates too, I wonder what they have planned for that.

The Noel skin is cool, looks way better than his stupid hammer pants. Serah though... doesn't seem like it fits her character. :/ Either way though $3 is too much for skins. I'll have to wait and see what the Sazh episode is like. I'm not particularly interested in card games but if the story is good I might bite. Sazh was my favorite character in XIII and I'm pretty pissed he didn't have at least the same size role as Snow.
