I LOVE the style of this game. :)

But one question: Is the translated title Folks Soul: Forgotten Legend or Folks Soul: The Lost Folklore? I read both, but the latter more often.

They can both work. The latter is more literal while the former is more poetic.

Yeah I hope they keep the old design...what would be the point in changing it, even a blind bat could tell the original looks vastly superior

If this game is the prettiest game this year by far, then I must be oblivious to everything around me. It does look very good though and the gameplay looks spectacular. Loving that SMT charm.

Well it's mostly from how Genji 2 turned out visually. Yeah, yeah people all made remarks and stuff against it when it was visually first shown, but then the game finally released and the visual graphical designs was just simply fantastic when it was said and done.

It really really is a pretty looking. Such bright colors and designs.

You know, I didn't even notice that her boobs got a major downgrade until I read the post above me. Normally in video games the girls chests get larger, not smaller.

Yes and that was still a chore. I can live with archaic gameplay, but that camera was passable at best and just awful more often than not. Maybe one day I'll be able to bring myself to play through it again.

Hm... Is this information accurate? I know this is true for Jewel Summoner, but I thought it had been confirmed that this was another project entirely.

Besides... I don't think I trust Cozy with a game of his own after Jewel Summoner. :(

Nice box but the game obviously looks like it's running on the Genji 2 engine and will likely play just as badly since it's the same developers :(

I expect it to be the worst PS3 game of 2007.

genji 1 was fine - better than every onimusha to date....

Don't you think that every PS3 game is the worst game of 2007?

Before making comments like that, you could have at least watch some video. The game looks as impressive, if not more impressive than Genji 2, and has completely different gameplay. It's more of an RPG, you don't fight making wild combos in it, you fight using spells and stuff. The camera is also different and controllable.

This has budget game written all over it.

Of course it does, with some of the best graphics out there, completely new type of gameplay, amazing art work and design. It has budget game written all over it.

Well, and the darn battle system, and the darn level design, and the darn AI, and the darn Kamui attack mode, and the darn useless characters, and the darn stupid story =P

Yeah....I don't have much faith in gamers republic and "quality" games. ;)

I never got around to playing it. Duckroll and Triodal played it and they found it to be a solid fairly standard rpg IIRC, but that wasn't using a really wonky engine like the Genji 2 one!

Umm, how can they afford to do that?

The concept is cool, but some environments(apart from the flowerfields) look bland for a PS3 game.
