Ben Arfa back on Tuesday to face Nottingham Forest. If only Santon was fit to play his first proper match for us. Looking forward to the game anyway.

Interesting by result, not premise.

Perhaps 'irrelevant clubs' is more apt a description... Yes, let's go with that.
Irrelevant clubs like City until this year you mean?

Rovers arsenal was about as entertaining as they come.

Fishing attempt success!

They wish that only their defense would suck. Their forwards are just as bad.

Well, Trapp and before him Sippel were good keepers. Their problem is the rest of the squad is mostly still a 2. Bundesliga tier. They shouldn't have let go of Srđan Lakić, Ivo Iličević and Erwin Hoffer.

Ya tenemos el once del Barça. Pep saca de inicio a Valdés; Alves, Puyol, Mascherano, Abidal; Busquets, Xavi, Thiago; Cesc, Messi y Villa

This will be interesting about tomorrow:

#LFC have conceded the joint-fewest shots on target this season (11) whereas #Spurs have conceded the most shots on target this season.

As the article says, strikers are judged on goals. But if Nando comes out and performs this weekend as he did on Tuesday then I'll be happy with him. 3 class and very unlucky efforts in the first 10 minutes. Brilliant work ethic throughout and 2 assists. Goals would be preferable, but as a team player you couldn't knock some of his more recent performances.

Definitely, I saw the signs too. Great stuff from him. Maybe knowing that he will definitely be benched when he is not motivated enough to show it really helped.

A lot of unexpected results today...2 own goals from Arsenal and eventually losing to Blackburn....Norwich beating Bolton at home....Aston Villa still not winning and tying Newcastle...QPR beating a pretty impressive Wolves at home...Swansea beating West Brom - the same side that Chelsea and Man United struggled to beat - 3 0 at home.

Yeah, the relegation contenders really pulled out all the stops to make it more interesting. I still expect it to be between Blackburn, Wigan, Norwich, West Brom and Swansea. QPR have turned in to a totally different team altogether, so I think they will be comfortable.

That's not soccer dog.
Could a dog actually play in the Champions League?
edit: lol at the synopsis:

An aging porn star uses the remainder of her wealth to manage an Scottish Premier League soccer team. After a poor start to the season (mainly due to the managers inappropriate dealings with the players), the coach is replaced by the clubs mascot 'Soccer Dog', who leads the team to the European cup.

While dispatching a small group of criminals who rob a gun store, Soccer Dog discovers the criminals are Nuke addicts, and he interrogates the gang's only survivor for the location where the drug was bought. Soccer Dog goes there and breaks into building, finding a Nuke production lab. Among the workers, who are mostly illegal immigrants, Soccer Dog sees Cain himself. Though Soccer Dog and his soccer team, are able to take out several of the lab's guards, Cain is able to escape. Cain's junior operative, a teenager named Hob, takes a pot shot at Soccer Dog, knowing that the Dogs previous obedience training would not allow him to shoot at a child.

During a failed telethon to raise money for the team, Soccer Dog receives a call from Hob, who has assumed control of Cain's Nuke empire and holds Cain's assets. Soccer Dog meets with Hob, who promises to bail out the city's deficit in exchange for permission to deal Nuke on the streets without interference from the law. Cain, bursts in on the meeting and slaughters nearly everyone, including Hob. Soccer Dog escapes assassination, however news of his attempted deal with Hob leaks to the press, further damaging his fragile public image.

BREAKING NEWS: Malaga have reached agreement with Real on a deal for CB Raul Albiol to join in January on a 3-year deal (via @ChristianMcr)

Source is reliable. Good deal for Malaga if it happens.

I really doubt that, but it would be f'ng awesome. our weakest spots are cbs.

BTW we just had a not brilliant at all 0-1 win in Mallorca, but still we had the opportunities for a more comfortable win.

Xavi is the most important player for Barça and Spain's play. He is who makes a team play the possession game.

I'm afraid that when Xavi is done, Spain is done (I mean winning everything, it will still be awesome)

5-0. Wow... Cesc is just amazing for FCB.

Some good results for us today. If we can beat Spurs tomorrow (tough ask) then were in a great position.

Hope Carroll starts. Lad needs more minutes if he wants to prove his performance, and hes a perfect fit for tomorrows game.

Now THIS is more like it Barca. More consistent play. 5-0 first half, nice. And Fabregas did more wonders for the club than I imagined. He is simply unbelievable - his level of understanding with Messi is amazing.

Right. Swansea are very impressive too with their slick style of play. Today was the day of the underdogs at the PL no doubt. Shocks all around.
