Remember that most of these "pics" after the first one seem to be concepts.

2 discs? Yay for Blu-ray?

Does this mean when I race a particular model, I will get a "please insert second disc"?

j/k

I don't know whether I should "yay!" for so much content or "boo!" at the thought of PS3fanboys.

"Haha Blu ray is better!"

You still have to change discs to play a different game so shut up! Doing it 3 more times for LO is no big deal!

Custom cars and tracks from the 'wrong' disk would probably just install on the HD invisibly to minimise disk swaps.

Two disc "set" does that mean...an extra disc for bonus features or...

booh @ dlc

"To continue the second half of the Nurburgring, insert disc 2."

I kid!

Very interesting concepts, but I do wonder how much of it will end up happening.

it is from a marketing survey look in the Xbox Avatar thread.

he didn't include the one that states if you buy the Collector's Edition, it would entitle you to download all DLC for free.

The massive leak is in this thread. It's a motherload of everything, not just Forza 3.

Attempting to paste the source link comes up with: "Copying this information is in violation of your Legally Binding Agreement of Non-Disclosure."

That's a good idea. I'm a CE/SE/LE whore, but I detest DLC, so that would be great for me. I hope this game comes out near the end of the 360's life cycle (late 2009 at soonest), and that they really try to push the hardware, otherwise what's the point in not just adding more DLC for Forza 2?

I also wonder if you will get any type of bonus for having a Forza 2 save on your HDD, even though I lost mine when trying to transfer it over to my Elite, it would still be pretty cool.

I'm curious to know how many cars on track, whether they'll retain 60fps and if they'll include different POVs.

Either way, this should be the definite racing simulator for us console players. Hopefully by the time it'll come out i'll have a 360.

Sounds good... except this "two discs" mention, i'm a bit worried about how can a race game assume it. I think GT2 had 2 discs either, how did it work ?

Ah, and I especially want to see how graphics will be improved, and a better damage system would be nice too :D

Better be a 2nd install disk. And it should come with a condom for when you need to buy the 120 gb hdd.

The second Forza 3 disc must be an install. Perhaps there will be 3 versions;

One disc for HDD-less owners (limited tracks, cars etc).

Two disc for owners with a HDD, one disc to install extra cars/tracks onto

Collector's Edition (2 disc, all the bells and whistles you could want)

(Just copying the post I just made in the motherload thread)

One thing though, these slides read more like questions from a market research group than confirmation of Forza 3 feature's. I wouldn't get too excited (but feel free to get a little wet around the 'old groin)

How can a racing game come on two discs? Unless, it installs things from the second?
Y helo thar GT2, Forza could have a dedicated arcade mode on one dvd and sim world or something on another.

There was one disc for arcade and one for sim. It was crappy because I had to ask my friend "hurr do you wan to play sim or arcade" and then insert the right disc. If you wanted to go back and play the other version it involved inserting another disc and loading all over again. :\

The worst would be 1 disc for multi and one for sp. I'm still hoping it just means a CE type of thing, not 2 discs for the game. :\

Some say Turn10 really underestimated the 360 with Forza 2. I am really looking forward to this, and the decision to go to two discs could bring it in league with Gran Turismo 2's epicness. It still harbors my favourite memories of the series as it took the biggest stride between iterations and had an awesome amount of cars.

E3 showing? It's not exactly a cover friendly game.

Holy shit, this will be unbelievable if this info actually materializes. 100 tracks, racing game of forever.

I just hope that the art director realizes that this game deserves realistic visuals, and not exaggerated stuff as he mentioned in the Limited Edition booklet.

Don't forget that according to PR FM2 had 47 tracks...
Well, Forza 2 had 12 unique tracks. If we use the same logic towards Forza 3, that means we're probably getting 24-25 unique tracks. That's pretty good and really alleviates a lot of my complaints with FM2.

Of which half would be those from FM2 and the DLC (Dan Greenawalt said so in one interview). Bearing that in mind, I hope there'll be 30+ unique tracks.

I dont care if theres not many tracks, just dont make the career mode so long. The worst thing was the further into the long-ass career mode you got, the more laps you were forced to race on the same old fucking tracks you were already bored of 30 hours ago. Oh and remove that "hire a driver" bollocks, it made endurance races pointless.

umm it was the lack of tracks that made it boring later on in the career

According to his profile he was last seen 30 minutes ago. I'm guessing he's on the phone to MS ninja's as we speak. :lol

To everyone complaining about disk swapping look at MGS4. It has 2-3 minute installs where normally you might have a to change a DVD. I would much rather change a disk in 15 seconds then wait for an install.
