Dune has a phenomenal soundtrack. A few weeks ago, I started reading the books and had the music playing in the background, it made the experience even better.

Tron: Legacy has one of the best soundtracks ever made IMO



A couple modern ones I like:

Arrival
La La Land
Blade Runner 2049
The Social Network
Mad Max: Fury Road

I used Tron: Legacy soundtrack over the course of a decade to fine tune my stereo.

It was the benchmark. Everything sounded good except for that fucking Tron soundtrack. Curses, I'd used to say.
