Man..

So bored. The missus has hijacked YouTube to watch some pseudo science bunk about life after death

And we're almost out of wine

I can recommend listening to Taylor Swift. But I'm not sure it works without wine 🤔.

Did you concider jerking off? That's also kinda entertaining.

Edit: that's not how you spell "to consider". Sorry I'm drunk.

I dunno about you guys, but I use GAF on mobile like 99% of the time. And iOS 26 breaks a lot of functionality, like rendering the react buttons. I hope it gets fixed, either by GAF or by Apple.

So if you get notifications where I react multiple times on one post, it's cause I'm just trying to guess which invisible button I need to press lol

I'm also about 95% on mobile and everything is good on Android.

Get rid of that overpriced rotten Apple 😁

I'm too deep in the ecosystem at this point. My work computer is a MacBook, I've got the Apple TV and shit. Apple Watch, even the fuckin HomePod.

Steve Jobs's ghost has me by the damn nutsack. It's too late for me, gentlemen.

Happy Friday y'all

I just got hit with a totally unexpected $20,000 repair bill, homeownership is super. I need a drink.

I feel you brother. I just had my roof replaced two weeks ago for about that much. Sometimes I miss renting.

I have a leak in my roof, so I've been getting quotes. Finally found a place that'll do it for $13k which would be amazing. Most came in around $20,000.

Today I got a notice from the city that there was a water leak on my property, but it was past the meter (and therefore not the city's fault). Turned off the main to the house, but it was still running. Had a plumber come out to confirm ($400) that I'm going need my entire water main to the house dug up and replaced. The city is giving me 10 days to fix this before they shut off my water.

Damn dude, that sucks. Plumbing repairs are the absolute worst. The last plumber that came to fix something here, I had to throw him out of my house after he damaged my bathroom and yelled at my fiancée. Contractors fuckin suck.

Do what you can to find someone local. I ended up asking all of my neighbors who did their roofs, and I got put in touch with a local dude. By other contracting companies, we were quoted between $40k-60k for our roof, and the local dude and his team did it for under $20k. And they did a great job. (Even if they did leave a few nails around my house.)
