I'm wanting to get an adapter to play my PS2 wirelessly with an OEM PS3 (or PS4) controller and have the vibration function. It doesn't look like there are hardly any out there, but I did come across this adapter:

Do any of you have any experience with this adapter? And if so, how does the wireless perform? Any lag, etc?

Not with that particular adapter, but i have the brooks xbox one/360 to ps4 and my xbox elite controller works flawless on my ps4.

Also, Madden E sports uses brooks adapters for their major tournaments, so make of that what you will.

Intresting, I may have to get one of these myself. Is it wireless? Does the rumble work?

Yes, I've used not one but three of those exact adapters.

- one of them is still plugged in to my JPN-region Slim PS2. It works great and has no noticeable lag. I'm playing DDP DaiOuJou so even a tiny bit of lag would be a detriment.
- one of them was defective. Couldn't figure out why. Returned to the vendor for a refund
- one of them I bought for a buddy. He still uses it and sometimes brings it over to play 2p PS2 games.

I have not used it wireless so unfortunately I cannot vouch for that function. I use it strictly to convert my PS3 or PS4 arcade sticks to PS2. It also is not recognized by at least one game (Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus).

Overall, it's a good converter. The other option would be to get a PS2 controller and padhack it with an undamned decoder, but then you're missing out on the wireless function. And if wireless is your goal, there were some exceptional Logitech-brand wireless PS2 controllers. I still have one and it's really, really good.

Yeah, I want the wireless functionality. I remember those Logitech PS2 controllers. I have never used one before though. I prefer to use an official PlayStation controller if I can.

Sounds good going by y'all's experiences. I had never heard of this company before. Seems like this is the only type of its kind on the market as I couldn't find any other PS3/PS4 to PS2 adapters. I'm definitely going to order it here in a little while then.

No, unfortunately mine isnt. But its plug and play super simple. Having to plug it in via usb tonthe adapter is a small price to pay to be able to use my elite controller on my ps4 pro.
