GAF decides for me because I‘m indicisive-PS3 or 360

I know you’re going to tell me to keep both but I won’t. I’ve made up my mind, only one can stay. The problem is I really can’t decide which one to keep. I simply don’t have enough time or money to keep both consoles and I’m not hardcore enough of a gamer to really care if I only have one. I like arcade racers, shooters, puzzle games, action adventure games, and platformers. I’ve tried to weight up the pros and cons and I’ve thought about it long and hard but I simply can’t decide. I know I’ll enjoy whichever one I keep so really I’m not too bothered by the outcome. Simply write PS3 or 360-no need for reasons. I’ll tally the votes and then put the loser up for sale this time next week.

For the record this isn't meant to start a console war. I already own both consoles (tag is NutJobJim for both consoles.) I'm no fanboy and don't want to encourage fanboys. I'm simply indecisive. Everything is pretty much equal for me in terms of games, online, system reliability etc. (I've had my 360 for nearly two years and it has never even frozen on me.) I don't need anyone to explain why I should keep one over the other since for me they are both equal. All anybody needs to put is simply PS3 or 360. Please don't lock this mods as it really will be helpful in helping me reach an answer. If you lock it I'll have to flip a coin

Based on the genres you like... they're pretty equally matched. I'd personally keep the Xbox 360 but I'd probably recommend you get rid of it for quality of build reasons.

Games, all about the games. Which games are you more interested in?

If your interested more in PS3 exculsives or barely play online. I would say go with that. I still recommend waiting on it till atleast the end of the year. First half of this year is pretty barren again on exculsives outside MGS at the very end.
Otherwise 360. So you don't have to worried about gimped multiplatforms, online parts and such.
I also would recommend since the 360's market is much bigger in the US(Also thanks to achievement whores:lol ) The Used Game market for it is really really nice. ^_^

Honestly, as it stands right now, the 360 has the best library and the best online if you don't mind paying for it. If you're looking for a more reliable system and value hi-def movies, you might want to keep the PS3 though. Both have excellent upcoming libraries, but most will give the PS3 the edge there. In the end, you probably can't go wrong either way.

Keep your PS3. If you don't you'll wind up buying a crummier Blu-Ray player eventually and at this point the overall game quality is comparable. The PS3 has more legs in the long run. Even as a 360 lover I can see that.
