  1. Rank Kanye's albums
  2. Pick a coast to rep
  3. Pick a side in the Biggie/2Pac discussion
  4. Make a comparison between Khalifa and something soft
  5. Decide who you think won the Jay-Z/Nas beef.
  6. Flocka or Royce?
  7. What you think of J. Cole?
  8. Who is the best Wu-Tang member? (+optional: Rae vs. Ghost)
  9. Can 2pac rap? (Or do Biggie got DAT FLOW?)
  10. Rate Lupe on a scale of 1-10 (+ call him a dumbass for Lasers and political views)
  11. Lil B? Genius or mentally challenged?
  12. Pick an era of Eminem
  13. How does Drake write such deep lyrics?
  14. Is Nas old and dusted with a horrible ear for production?
  15. Joe Budden: Introspective and witty, or annoying emo fetus killing asshole?
  16. Bonus: Answer every one of these questions again once in a while for the remainder of your stay here.

:Sources: In GAF-Hop, we try our best to expand our horizons and discover new artists, and try to escape the status-quo of the usual hiphop world. It’s being said that hiphop is dead, and it isn’t. Why did this happen? Probably because of the mainstream popularization of certain “artists” that claim (falsely) to be rappers, or advents/saviors of hiphop. Largely a joke, average people make broad and often incorrect assumptions about what rap/hiphop is and is not. There were key players in this, but let’s try to avoid pointing fingers. Instead, let’s do our best to support real artists who make true efforts to bring in talent and unique abilities to boost creativity, mostly within the underground.

yeah, i couldn't fuck much with what CRS did; his OP was tight.

things i need to find somehow in OT2 and add to this one:

-links to Wu mondays/native tongue tuesdays etc that had banners, spotify links
-Escha (think it was yours?) Spotify playlists, they need more exposure
-Soul Creator freestyles - Jay Elec & several others, so good. spin-chan had a few too i wanna say?
-Links to related OT's - overcasts Cole thread, WTT, MBDTFWTF etc
-Toku's banner is the best thing ive seen here, i just wish i could maybe thumbnail it so it didn't dick with the page's formatting.
-I should prolly update CRS' 2011 release list. also, we should start one for 2012 soon!

ps Ace do you wanna subtitle those WCW tracks to show their theme/etc? one's gangsta, one's too high, etc.

Was that on purpose, or are you just on that same wavelength? And is it an actual album, or a mixtape?
Lol same wavelength. Just remembered that it was coming out. It's a full album.

From the other thread

I agree on with you on Chronic vs. 2001. Actually 2001 one was kinda of a let down for me. Funny story, I got my first copy of Chronic 2001 by trading with one of my friends for a Posion Clan cd. Haha.

It Takes of Nation of Millions and Fear of a Black Planet are actually pretty close for me the difference being that my favorites on Million I Iove more than my favorites on Fear of a Black Planet.

The differences between Most Wanted and Death Certificate are minimal for me just like between the PE albums.

Went to a club this weekend and heard some old EPMD and made me realize that it's been a good a while since I listen to any of their stuff. Need to pull some of that stuff out.

What did you guys think about MacheteVision? I think it's solid, rapping is decent. Beats are so good, Kno is unstoppable.

I don't know if I should buy Machete Vision or not.

Someone post the song with the most stand out beat that will make me throw my $6 at Kno's momma's head.

Only one listen in, but I liked it. Some of the beats were okay (I'm sure some will grow on me), and others I absolutely loved on first listen. I don't even know who MarQ Spekt is. He doesn't have a wikipedia so he must not be very important lol.

OK yeah. That dude has no business having an album full of Kno beats. WTF.

I'd throw an extra dollar their way for the instrumental version.
