ummm where are they? still the same old Drake pic you posted previously...why does it take you so long to post your proof to shut up everyone...oh yeah I know why

I am surprised he has not been banned yet...guess the mods are enjoying this thread too and waiting for the ultimate climax lol
Click on the "photo stream" button or whatever it's called. They're useless anyway because they're off screen pictures with a terrible camera.

Funny thread though, I've had a good time reading it and look forward to more comedy.

Polishing chips and replacing components will at best give you back your PS3, at worst will turn it into an expensive paper weight.

The only way you could conceivably make the PS3 perform faster is by overclocking it the CPU & GPU and chances are it would destabilize the hardware. Even if it did work it might reduce tear and moderately affect framerates. It would do squat for screen resolution, textures, draw distance and every thing else which would be baked into the final production code either compiled in or through settings on disk.

These are the old photos that he had posted since the start of his circus. There are no new captures that he has promised every one (and I doubt there ever will be)

why ban him?
People get banned on gaf for even minor things that mods are against. But I think he has found a loophole to stay ban free :D

How does changing physical hardware piece improve anything? When its all software rendering right? or am i lost as hell.......................
It's hardware rendering, that's not the major problem though. The problem is more that the majority of detail related settings for a console game are going to be hardcoded, or at least sitting in a setting file on the game media. And even if they aren't, developers aren't going to ship textures on the disc which are too big to actually use in the game, so any texture improvements are going to be limited to forcing anisotropic filtering and stuff.

It is possible to override these kinds of things at the driver level, that's what Riva Tuner and Nvidia Inspector are used for on PC. What you can't do, for example, is change the object or texture fade limits, because they're a function of the game engine, not the GPU. So you're right in a sense, there are software changes needed for this type of thing.

Clearly you have no idea how capacitors work. This is why Crytek was asking for 8 gigs of capacitors in the next systems so textures could have teraflops of geometry.

It's sort of like how Intel's 3D transistors make processors faster and cooler. With consoles, it's capacitors. I'm more surprised that Rockstar had the foresight to include capacitor-detection code to unlock the better textures.

I was far more impressed when they were using 2D transistors, not every CPU defies the laws of physics and space.

I am currently uploading new/old screens to Flickr. I will gladly post new footage as soon as I recieve the HD capture card, iPhone footage just doesn't have the results even unrestricted. My goal GAF is to have HD 1080p realtime content for review by next week with stock vs. Enhanced GTA IV, God of War3, Resistance, and I will demonstrate HDD load times as well Showing Tekken DR stock vs. Enhanced. I have been given the oppurtunity to demonstrate this with some added financial contributions. Any real comments or questions can be sent to my email at damageforyou@gmail.com.
Thank you for your support(yes I was pissed last time I'm cool now)

So, you're saying that you finally bought a HD capture card, and you're waiting for it to be deliver? And people gave you money as of late(You mentioned "Financial Contribution")? Are you from Nigeria? Need to make sure before I do a contribution.

Why would replacing capacitors and the power supply improve texture detail?
On an analog display like a CRT you can reduce noise in the video signal chain resulting in a clearer picture which results in everything looking better. A more stable power supply can also effect black level response among other things. Kind of the reason I have my CRT "tweaked" beyond what ISF techs will do to it. I didn't replace any parts or anything I simply dialed in on the service codes that effect the signal and either bypassed the circuits by turning them off or minimized them. The difference was mind blowing to say the least but, in all honesty your only seeing what the devs would see running the games on a professional reference monitor. It certainly didn't make the source material do anything different than what was there in the first place. I mean if I watch NASCAR the cars don't go any faster due to the tweaking of my TV set and it doesn't make The View any more interesting to watch. I mean you might notice an extra pimple on a porn star's ass but, it isn't like the pimple wasn't there to begin with. I really can't see all this resistor/capacitor replacing doing anything other than possibly getting you a cleaner signal and possibly keeping the system cooler or maybe running a bit more stable.

Would make a great Tim and Eric Cinco commercial though.

This man has created something so controversial that a lot of people want to suppress him. You can't hold down the truth because the truth always finds a way out. Some type of phenomena is happening inside his PS3 that cannot be explained using mankind's current understanding of science. But, the results speak for themselves. I do see richer colors, better draw distances and improved anti-aliasing, but you really need to see the picture in person to truly appreciate what's happening before your eyes.

They laughed at Cold Fusion and now they're laughing at the Super PS3 because they cannot wrap their head around what's happening. It's a byproduct of being scared of the unknown. We're witnessing a break though before our eyes and instead of embracing it we're trying to crucify the inventor. I believe in this person which is why I started a Kickstarter project to bring his technology to the masses. And even though Kickstarter rejected my submission I'll keep trying because I refuse to be suppressed by the man. This technology is too important to let die.

So, i read the Original post, what else happened since?

Fill me in kind gaffers.
Well you see you read the OP and then you start reading the other comments you see and then you end up going through all the pages you see and then you start to post your comment you see and then once you've done all that you enter the matrix that is inside rhubards head you see.

I thought it was obvious from the start that Rhubarb was just trolling. It got attention so he threw a bit more trolling in but some people still think he's serious so he's just trolling even more now with the asking for people to wait.

It was funny at first though seeing the post in the GTAIV mod thread and when this got posted on that site but it's just not funny now. At least not for the reason so many think it's funny (laughing at the guy for thinking he's made a super PS3).

I mean, I could be wrong and this guy could seriously believe he's made a super PS3 but I still think the most likely and logical answer is he's just trolling for the lulz.
