This is the main thread for Microsoft's press event.

This is not a press conference, more of a demo area.

While personally most excited for Halo: CEA out of MS's fall line-up, I think most of the content relating to that will be saved for HaloFest at PAX next week.
Personally hoping for a video look at the new Dashboard and some XBLA stuff. It was here that I discovered ilomilo last year.

The titles below are those I expect their to hear more from.

From what i heard ps3 is there.
But the 360 is getting a lot of last minute thing done to it probably to have it done for the beta. But not sure about that because medal of honor beta didn't went all to well on xbl.

I do feel like we will get the info tomorrow or something.

Looking at tweets, 12:30 was the queing time, actual kick-off seems closer to 1 (i.e. 5 minutes).

Oh weird, it does kind of look like that. As if the bounding is a flat rectangle that runs just above the highest point of that entire platform.
Maybe an early version of the map?

Mostly Kinect games, and Halo, Gears 3 and Age of Empires Online. I'm not going to try many of them unfortunately as I need to leave shortly.

Or it could be (wait for it) still in development! :)

This map hasn't received it's final polish pass yet so perf and tiny things like that should be addressed.

My bad! Forgive me. I just assumed since you were letting people play it, it was finished already.

It's a really quick and simple fix anyway.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Well, Damnation looks pretty sweet. I get a strong feeling the platform by the waterfall can have sections removed in Forge to make it "Old School".

Yeah, then again considering everyone else is doing a conf, it's kinda expected of MS.

It isn't really a good event to liveblog it. Just post some photos on Twitter and post impressions later the day. That would be a good coverage for such an event.
