It all works out in the end and I feel the twist is way too complicated for them to have planned out from the beginning so it seems as if it may have all just fell into place. I mean, if they planned it out, then why didn't they end Batman Beyond with Epilogue instead of inserting it as a season finale to JLU?

Knowing Dini and crew I'm sure it was actually done from the beginning.

Part of Batman Beyond was indeed showing that Gotham, and the world, always needed Batman. This was reflected in a number of things like foes being reimagined/updated (Clayface/Inque), friends filling roles held by Batman's friends (Barbara/Max) to the point where you had an entire gang based on his arch-nemesis and 2 of his old enemies (Freeze and Rah's) actually still being around (ROTJ had this in spades). Terry being Bruce's genetic son was just an amazing icing on the cake that would have ended the show brilliantly if they had been able to do it at a normal time.

I'm a huge fan of Batman Beyond, but that skin looks absolutely atrocious. Will probably end up getting it anyway, as I have just been inspired to marathon the Batman Beyond series on DVD.

Shit yes, BTAS skin is the hotness! But I really want Robin. I hope Rocksteady & WB learn from Rockstar & LA Noire by releasing an all exclusive DLC pass that'll give us access to all preorder exclusives not too long after launch.

The Batman Beyond suit was obviously designed for a smaller frame. I believe Bruce only wears it like twice in the whole series, and it just doesn't look right on him.
