I think in some ways the Atari Lynx was the most exciting system I ever got as a kid. Maybe you had to be a kid at the time, but the idea of a color handheld being released was just incredible. I still remember the display running at Toys R Us, it was like staring at God's face.

Heh. This reminds me. I still need to get my old one off my brother. I spent a solid 2 years playing Quake 2 on that thing and for some reason, the graphics card has a special place in my heart for that reason.

to me it was 'Unreal' (the game). I still have my Diamond Monster Voodoo2 SLI-cards around here somewhere, the only old hardware I ever kept. it was something very special to me back in the days.

Intel Atom used in mobile devices- game related and absolutely amazing tech.

I wonder f Nintendo gives the Atom some consideration for their next console. A dual core atom only uses like 5w of power yet it'd be a very significant CPU upgrade over their curent solution.
