it's likely that you won't spend any significant time in the teapot.
PS5 version releases with 1.5. Which means that loading times can be even better. So it would be great to have all the city vendors inside your teapot 1 loading screen away.

Free Diona? Can I just get the cash mora or primo equivalent? :messenger_grinning_sweat:
In my case I have her at C6 already so it's basically just a free wish from the Paimon's Bargains page. Th-thanks MHY...

After looking at JohnLee's kit, It really sucks that his heal on hit isn't until C6. That would have been a great C2 or C4 instead. Only megawhales are going to have him at C6 before his like 4th rerun.

Invest in Noelle. Plus, if it was his C1 or C2, he could make half of the roster obsolete.

Did you guys noticed that his C1 is Double Pillar... LongDongs DP ???

Well he still does, just for whales only right now. Putting it at C2 or C4 would make it attainable by saving enough.

DP can be pretty brutal, I made some research via PornHub for purely scientific reasons.
c0 is more than enough since its objective is to generate you shield orb and block attacks, if your main DPS is not satisfied with one like this, she will not be satisfied with anything.

most importantly, no ears - which I believe was the source of her power in Honkai.
Looks like they are just lying flat against her head, maybe she doesn't want to draw attention to them.
Doesn't look like we will see her in this outfit anymore.
Yae guuji's look is closer to gyakushinn miko, yae sakura's first outfit; they are both supposed to be shrine maidens.
Flame sakitama outfit has armour, because it's when she was under the influence of a fox spirit and became a warrior; it's her third outfit.

Yea now that I saw a bigger pic of the chibi model, I think you're right. She appears to have earrings that hang down off of them. Very close design to Yae, but not exactly. I feel like she's related in the way that Fallen Rosemary isn't technically Rita, but it is Rita in Honkai.

Side question - is anybody using Prototype Amber in place of a dedicated healer in any of your teams? (the catalyst, not just Amber with a prototype bow). I'm thinking of trying it out in my Geo resonance team with Ningguang since she gets energy quickly and only has a 40 energy burst.

Excited for the housing stuff. Anyone know if we can leave other characters around the housing grounds? Would be weird if only the main character and animals are there.

Yae mentioned she's a kitsune, right?

Anyways:

Also, housing q&a
- Gardening system exists but still in development and will arrive in a future update
- Gardening will allow you to get Mora, Temporary Resin, Artifact Upgrade mats
- 1.6 will allow your characters to live in House
- Furniture interactions in development
- Over 200 furnishings at launch and then more added in as the game goes on
- 1.5 Housing is soft launch and a lot more to come

Unfortunately not yet. They hinted that it's in development to have your characters idle in the teapot eventually though. For now it's just you and your friends in multiplayer. As YukiOnna YukiOnna mentions above, it should be in 1.6 to at least have them show up in your housing area. I'd expect the housing will become way more interactive as time goes on.

Considering I haven't pulled in months, I'll take a free character.
Who are you saving for? Or just saving just because?

Yeah here's the direct response in any case in regards to that:
In Version 1.6, the characters owned by Travelers can also be stationed in Serenitea Pot!

Their general statement about Serenitea Pot:

The Serenitea Pot system you'll experience in Version 1.5 is just the beginning. Many functions and contents are not yet available. We understand that there's still a gap between the current version and your expectation in terms of building, placing, and interaction. We're working on them. The dev team is further optimizing the guidance and user-friendliness of the system. Meanwhile, we're also developing more gameplays such as gardening.

The Serenitea Pot is a brand new system, separated from the world exploration, combats, or stages. We hope to bring Travelers a more free and leisurely way of gameplay, and to provide you with a unique space during your journey in Teyvat, which completely belongs to you alone.

After the Version 1.5 update, please give us your feedback and suggestions. These will be very important to push us to optimize the system.

No one:
Absolutely no one:
Mihoyo: Free Vomit Cat Diona

:sick::sick::sick:
She's also supposed to be in LongDongZhong's banner.

Could mihoyo be more miserable?

Yae mentioned she's a kitsune, right?

On paper and according to what we saw, this sounds like the best housing system in gaming so far. Kind of a shame that's on a single player game.
Or just saving just because?
It's never a bad idea in gachas.

Finally got my Rosaria doing "real" damage at my world level. She's a lot of fun to play but struggles a bit fighting many small enemies. That's honestly been a little unexpected for me since her auto attacks at a glance seem to be wide sweeping AoE attacks, but they just don't hit as such in battle. I also don't like that you can't finish her normal combo and do a charge attack at the end, you have to cancel out of it after the 3rd or 4th hit when it doesn't really feel natural to do so. Not to mention the generic spear CA really moves you out of position. Her kit works well enough though and she's a great freeze comp damage dealer because she doesn't shatter and break the freeze, leaving you with maximum CC time. This team definitely won't be replacing my "main" team, but it's fun enough to mess around with and makes quick work of most of the 40 resin bosses. Phys damage is definitely the easiest damage type to reduce damage for.

I just found out recently that my C1 Mona's Burst actually increases the length of freeze, and freeze actually increases the length of Omen on enemies too, meaning you get some insane spike damage if you can work out superconduct into her burst into freeze. It's tough to do since elements kinda wipe each other after applying their effects, but when it all lands, whew. Stupid big numbers for about 6 or so seconds where the enemy is completely frozen (unless bosses of course). Kaeya should also be able to fill in the superconduct/phys damage role since he won't shatter either. Eula will fit the same comp but she's going to shatter and ruin the CC at a cost of a mini-damage burst for the shatter effect.

I'm having a great time with Genshin impact but I wanted to know...are the saves stored exclusively in their serves? i mean...if there's a technical problem on their side that somehow delete all data will all our progress be lost forever??

It's a sweet game and a great surprise and even better than BOTW in some aspects but the fear of something happening to their servers is a little annoying.

Design is very "meh".She's ain't Ayaka. All I care is her numbers. Who knows, maybe she's Baal's Cocogoat. Or maybe Ayaka will be Baal's Ganyu while she will be Baal's Electric cat.
I love it but everything about Inazuma is my aesthetic so I'm quite biased. Plus, I'm into Shrine Maidens lmao.

Yeah, everything is on their side.

They make billions man, they probably have it covered lol. It's a non issue, really. You better watch out for your account safety if your are not on Playstation as they still doesn't have a 2FA.

I'm into Shrine Maidens lmao.
Feel ya. The thing is, I'm not into them. I mean they look to plain to me. Sure, if you like them, she's really a hero to wish for hah.

Yeah, finally some Japanese aesthetics are coming to GI. I like it too.

Yae will probably be fine. I didn't care for her character much in the Honkai games, but I'm not into yuri. To be honest, in all the Inazuma leaks and info we have up until now, I don't really like any of the Inazuma character designs. Mimi was probably the closest to one that I liked, and I think Shengli will be a Liyue character that just happens to come out after Inazuma (like Eula/Rosaria and Mondstadt). Red Aether (Kazuya or w/e) looks like they hit CTRL+C -> Paste as plain text from Albedo and MC, and the ninja/tanuki girl is "eh". It's weird because usually I like Japanese aethetics, but the characters we have seen so far have just been really boring (in my opinion), design wise.

The best designed character nation for me so far is Mondstadt by a large margin. They all have a unique look that sets them apart, and it's not like they just draped a bunch of scarves and cloth off of their bodies and called it a day, which is how I feel about the Inazuma designs.

Personally, I think Mondstadt (characters, town) is bland, but I've been tired of Europe style and aesthetic in RPG's for a while now so it's not exactly Genshin's fault. I really like the Liyue designs and am glad the Inazuma characters continue in that lane, but regardless I respect Mihoyo's decision to make every region differ with its own culture and aesthetic even if it won't always be my thing. I don't outright hate any yet and it borders between boring to good so that's already an achievement because developers like Square Enix some how always go from one extreme to the other lmao. Skins are going to be a great addition whenever they come since it'll add some variety in that regard if I don't fancy the design.

Also, I pray to god Sumeru isn't just some giant desert. Please...

I wouldn't mind a desert biome. Games have made really well designed deserts that aren't boring before, and I trust genshin could do it too. Hopefully with lots of underground caverns and ruins and stuff like running through huge animal bones.

Liyue's designs have been hit or miss for me. I liked Zhongli/Ganyu/Keqing/Beidou, but wasn't much of a fan of Qiqi/waterboi/popsicle dude/Hu Tao. The rest are in the middle somewhere.

I really like Eula's design a lot, but I think her kit is boring. I'm really torn on rolling for her. I'm probably most excited for Fontaine and Snezhnaya. Fontaine seems to have that film noir theme, which is pretty cool. I wish they had a gothic architecture area in the vein of Bloodborne.

That's true. I think level design has been a strong point for Genshin and keeping a unique vibe for all its locales so far. I really wish Eula wasn't a claymore user since it's just not a fun playable role to me I've found. Mentioned it before but if I roll for her it's because of her character/voice actress more than anything....

Fontaine is definitely the other region I look forward to seeing and I like what bit of lore we learned about it from the Endora event. Ultimately, I'm curious about what they'll be doing once they cover all regions since the official site calls this the Teyvat Saga/Chapter. Would be cool if we get to visit the ancient civilizations or experience Archon War.

I hope it is. And I hope it's huge. I love giant open spaces.
I would really have loved for Windrise to be much bigger.
I guess since my imagination is lacking I'm just picturing your standard desert from Egypt, Assassins Creed, etc. I don't mind as long as they do something different with it. Windrise is beautiful.

Is there is any gear that permanently protects against blizzard or do i must rely exclusively on potions to navigate the snowlands?

No.Cook some goulash. Or be a man enough and just go from one heat source to another. They're literally everywhere. If it's too bothersome, goulash is your best bet.

Goulash, Potions, and all the nice torches and statues you activate.

Any characters with self heals or healers would also be good.

Jean can heal through the Dragonspine area and the domain to where it doesn't matter.

Statues and teleport points also warm you up, so if you're in a real bad spot, just teleport to any one (yes you can do it while in battle too). Also, breaking those red rocks and having the "buff" float around you will slightly reduce cold buildup. It also works as a pyro reaction the first time you hit something with it, so if you break a red rock, pick up the buff and then hit a campfire with your sword or whatever, it will light the campfire.
