Interesting. I'd be down to play the YU-NO remake. I wonder if it's shorter than the original, which is incredibly long. Took me weeks to get through.

Maybe it'll just be less obtuse. The only thing I really hated about the original was having to spam clicks to make the time pass, hope there's a better mechanic in place for that. Wouldn't want to lose the utterly BS flowchart though lol.

That zombie hunter game didn't get much positive impressions didn't it?
Punchline is from the Zero Escape guy right?
Yeah, Punchline is by Uchikoshi. At least, the anime was- dunno about the game or if it differs at all in terms of story.

The Punchline VN is supposed to have the true ending that the anime didn't have, was hoping it'd get localized since Uchikoshi was hinting at it before. Will probably buy all of these.

I would potentially buy all of those except Punchline.

Glad to see PQube is still being awesome (I assume it's them). Just saddened a little that they seem to have skipped over Uppers.

Still, Yu-NO is a cool surprise.

Yeah that's what I thought, this doesn't bode well for Uppers' chances. Pity, it was the closest thing to Yakuza on handhelds.

Day effin 1 for Yu-No. I'm not sure if I'll get Punchilne, anime sucked. Uchikoshi is best when he deals with serious stuff.

Uppers looked like a PSP game and the fanservice is pretty base and unnecessary.

I hear Yu-No is good, but i wonder how it will work without the h-content.

Where did Net High go? I was actually interested in that.

When even the likes of Root Letter can sell 200,000 copies worldwide, maybe it's not so surprising that more and more of these niche games are finding their way overseas.

Having said that, I remember reading articles about Punchline on Gematsu and thinking there was no way in hell that was getting localised!

Might be another case, like Gal Gun, where the Japanese publisher really wanted it to go overseas, so they offered a vastly reduced agreement which would be attractive to someone like PQube.

Wait, what, YU-NO remake in the west? It's not even out yet in Japan.
For a long time I always thought that it was just another generic hentai game with elves, but from what I have read lately I was completely wrong and many japanese game/VN creators mention this title when talking about the best VN games.
So definitely looking forward to it.

Hahaha! Well, YU-NO does have its "lolwut" porn moments and there's a metric fuckton of fanservice (just about every CG with a woman in it) but it really has a beautiful story.

yeah but there are screencaps

Hopefully SGZH and Punchline are real.
I think they are likely to be real since SG/ZH is from the same publisher/dev as Oneechanbara, which XSEED also localized. Punchline is probably gonna happen too since Uchikoshi mentioned that he wanted it to be localized back before ZTD came out. I think that one could be Aksys, we'll see though.

Punchline wasn't just Uchikoshi, Takumi Nakazawa (director of the Infinity series, wrote it along with Uchikoshi) served as senior director and also wrote parts of it. It's their first collaboration since 2004's Remember11.
