Edit - Translation by Dave1988

The graphics of GET EVEN are achieved by using 3D scans of real locations and people. To develop this innovative technology, our studio works with research institutes and independent specialists. This will mark the first time where this technology is used on such a scale in video games. The technology present in GET EVEN by The Farm 51 has been first presented to the audiences during the French Game Connection where it has been well-received.

GET EVEN also strives to offer a fresh approach to game mechanics. The developers plan to remove the arbitrary barrier between single and multiplayer modes by linking them together in a unique way. In the singleplayer campaign, other players will be able to join the game at any moment to take on the roles of enemies previously controlled by the AI. Thanks to this, the singleplayer campaign, often schematic and predictable in other games, enters a new dimension where the player has to face the most dangorous of all foes: another player who has his own reasons and tools to stop you from reaching your goal.

The approach to story telling in GET EVEN also strives for innovation. The player is given the chance to experience the events that transpire in the singleplayer campaign from the perspective of two opposing protagonists. What is more, gameplay will differ based upon the choice of a side and the story of the game will be told through elements of gameplay, exploration, and interacting with the environment rather than the standard usage of cutscenes and dialogues.

Looks interesting...although I can't help but already feel fed up with the setting. Looks like yet another grey, post-apocalyptic, war-torn world.

BTW: Is the screen on the guy's rifle supposed to show the future?

Looks like it could be interesting.

NecroVision was one of the worst games I've ever tried to play though, the Painkiller sequel wasn't great either. Hopefully they had a major change in staff since then and have a Rocksteady style rise to the top.

This pretty much. Kinda looks like the Last of Us but with more . . . shinyness? Blue?

Necrovision wasn't that bad, it had a charming amount of jank and a unique setting. Deadfall was pure crap though.

Looks kind of boring actually, can we get a translation for the info maybe there is something there that would set this game apart.

Also what's up with the AR mounted display? Does it predict the future?

I hope those visual flairs around the characters mean some interesting special abilities. I'm not interested in another post-apocalyptic grey FPS.

The concept and setting kept me playing Necrovision long after I started cursing the gameplay designer.

I was actually looking to pick up Deadfall eventually so it doesn't bode well that you rate it worse than Necro!

More next gen-only games. Good. The less cross gen stuff, the better.
The game looks OK... That screen showing the future is cool though.

I guess it depends on what your priorities are. I found Deadfall to be way too derivative to be interesting (namely, from Uncharted and Call of Duty). It was a more polished and competent game than Necrovision, but it just wasn't interesting to me in the slightest. Necrovision had its own charm, Deadfall didn't in my opinion.

I have a soft spot for The Farm 51s games. They can be janky but I usually find them to be a lot of fun. Enjoyed both Necrovision games and Deadfall. Thought they were a blast to play, cheap and cheerful. Their Painkiller Hell and Damnation remake is decent as well, just not really necessary since Painkiller Black was and still is fucking awesome

Wow it's a man with a gun! To be quite honest I'm surprised he's not bald... Next gen right here.

First though
Does that rifle a pistol on a swivel arm for shooting around corners?

Second thought why doesn't the image on the screen match what is happening in the scene?

It seems like screen shows what's going to happen several seconds later (as the guy on the ground is reaching for a gun but on the display he's already holding the gun). The question is whether that's a mistake by the developers or whether that display actually shows you the future.

So looking at the devs wiki page the last project they worked on was Deadfall Adventures, anyone play that? Was it any good?

I liked Necrovision a lot, essentialy it was Painkiller with a new coating and some minor differences. Loved the shooting in the games, the core FPS gameplay was a lot more fun than in most "AAA" games.

Why is there a gun attached to the... rifle? I'm so confused. Looks cool, though.

Yo dawg! We heard you like guns so...

But no, I thought the same. Now that I saw the GIF below your post, it looks pretty interesting, as does the use of a (removable?) phone as the screen.

I think the lighting and modeling looks great, especially this shot

outdoor environments are kind of dull in screenshots, but might look good in motion.

Girl in background looks like stock photo. I'm guessing its not ingame but concept art. Pay attention to her hair and shading.

Premise sounds interesting. Intrigued by the display on the camera and what is happening in front of it at present. I'll be awaiting the teaser in January

Still kind of a bit let down by the graphics of these games coming in 2015.

It isn't the kind of bump graphically I was hoping for.

Compared to last gen games, these aren't that impressive and you can't just say "its just launch titles" when the game is 2015.

I dunno maybe its just early shots.
