I think I am going to make chocolate covered marshmallows...
...FUCK!
...FUCK!
I'd say it's the mayo, pretty awful by itself but with other things it's all rightMarshmallows are fine and easy. They are the bologna of the bonfire dessert world.
The only good use of a marshmallow is watching it burn to death over a campfire.
Fact.

Well, most of my food I eat dead, yeah.
Can't wait for Swery's.

I like mustard but it has a very specific flavour though.
Mayo can incorporate flavours.
Yeah, "mayo" is typically how I'd describe the flavours of suicide, I agree.
Nah, as a south east Asian I must rep some sambal belachan as the GOAT sauce.
Weak ass people thinking that srirachai is a good hot sauce but not recognising the taste sensation that is sambal belachan.
Off Topic: I'm playing Yakuza 4 and accidentally triggered a cutscene outside a building that changed the time of day. Now I'm locked out of a huge chunk of Kazuma's side quests until the very end of the game.
That sucks game. Don't do that!
Just his solo chapter, right? I'm sure you get another chance later.
I just remembered last year's most disappointing argument, where Jeff made an impassioned speech about Destiny being a legendary car crash at launch and then they decided to give it to W_atc_h__D0gz.
(Ironically, back then the argument for WD was that this Ubisoft open world game had a slick BS debut trailer with an interesting hook - I know, shocking - so it was disappointing that it somehow managed to be a Ubisoft open world game).
I love the diversity, especially from devs, but gotta say Rich Gallup's list kinda rubs me the wrong way. Friend of the site and all that but ever since he came to F2P Mobile Jesus I just can't relate to where he's coming from. Feels like he's trying to sell me something whenever he appears lately instead of just rapping about games. Some of these guest top tens are pretty weird. Though I (think) there's a lot more than last year, so this is par for the course.

I agree. Though I feel like because videogame music has its roots in 8 bit chiptunes and the like, the more techno-y music feels like a more natural progression of video game music and so there's a strong bias in its favor.I do appreciate Brad bringing up the fact that they dismiss too quickly the more orchestral soundtracks in their GOTY discussions. I was amazed that they didn't nominate Child of Light last year, at least I don't think they did, and they didn't nominate Journey? Crazy talk. I don't think they should necessarily win but they deserve to be in the discussion.
These end of year podcasts are where Alex really shines. He's good at distilling arguments down without being reductive, he champions his favorites but doesn't stubbornly hold onto them if he knows he's out numbered, and he remembers and points out the opinions of other's in the room when helpful. I know he's not everyone's taste as a personality, but in terms of just having discussions about games, he can be really good.
For that matter, Dan is actually surprisingly good at framing arguments and finding common ground too, although so far this year he's done it less than the GOTY pods last year.
It was surprising to see Austin and Vinny get into one of the most heated discussions of the year. I think Austin could be a potential second Brad. THE BATTLE LINES ARE BEING DRAWN.
It's not just this list, more a culmination of previous appearances where I get a salesman vibe I don't get from other guests. I get it, he's working on a Star Trek game. Would be more palatable with just the iOS F2P stuff.I don't see how what he does when he appears is different from any other dev that only shows up once in a while comes on. The come in, talk about what they're working on and then move on to other shit. He's enthusiastic about what he's doing, but the only difference between him and other devs is that he works on mobile games.
His list seems to be all mobile F2P stuff this year because he's been playing that for research. Sounds like dude's a real busy guy and doesn't have time for much outside of that.

Even though Undertale got snubbed for best music (over MGSV which is duuuuumb) I am happy Splatoon won overall. That soundtrack is fresh.
