STILLWATER, Minn. -- A 17-year-old Minnesota girl is accused of stabbing her newborn baby 135 times in a "panic state." The baby was then tossed in the garbage.

Authorities in Stillwater said Nicole Beecroft told them she gave birth on her laundry room floor Monday. When she saw the baby's finger move, she then stabbed the child, according to court documents.

An autopsy determined the baby was born alive but was stabbed numerous times in the chest area and bled to death.

Beecroft's mother said she didn't know her daughter was pregnant.

Authorities found the baby after getting a tip. The investigation led to Beecroft's home, where they found the baby's body inside a trash bag, along with a knife and some towels.

This is just..dreadful and horrifying...but is it even possible to stab a baby 135 times? Is there enough baby to do that?

Well she probably is insane, or was in that moment anyway, 'cos I don't know how any sane person could stab any baby, let alone their own.

There are alot of crazy people in the world. Too bad the baby had to feel the wrath of it's mother's insanity.

Why even do that bullshit? So you kill the baby because of your mistake. She should have...

a) Had an abortion
b) If there was no money for that, leave the baby on a freaking doorstep or something.

Why not do b since she was willing to carry the baby to term. Nobody would have known...

And yeah, I've heard of cases where women (usually overwight) didn't know they were pregnant. I guess the weight issue can mess up their regular periods, or maybe they still bleed monthly for a totally different reason. Who knows...

How do you count 135 stab wounds on a newborn? That is the most morbid job in the ****ing world.

Well, I can think of a few to string together: "Why the **** doesn't Minnesota have the death penalty?" There's nine.

I don't really see a reasonable mental defect / insanity case.
