The response to this disgusting shit is hilariously tame on our fav outrage era forum

No cancellations needed, we can just downplay this because she is making a queer kiddie cartoon posing as a game

For clarity, the presumed writer posted an article describing her experience watching D-tier porn parodies involving game characters and, seemingly, provided visual examples of what she watched. The “child” aspect is of characters who are contextually considered children, such as Misty from Pokémon or Hermione and Ginny from Harry Potter. Without viewing the content, it’s difficult to actually say whether they are depicted with child-like traits, though that is a pretty thin defense for those who have reservations about depictions of fictional, underage characters or otherwise.

I don’t know anything of this person and it doesn’t seem to me she is a pedophile based on the reported events. But her coverage of erotica, even fictional and steeped in videogames, was a lamentable error that provides a discovery avenue to those who might wish to normalize obscene and potentially criminal behaviors. There are things we know exist that don’t warrant broadcast and she definitely erred in her judgment for the sake of clicks. I’m not for stripping her of her career or socially ostracizing her, but it doesn’t mean it’s not without some justification if she experiences blowback.

Sometimes I just don't understand people. People at gamefaqs like to make weird topics like What does *insert character here* feet smell like, ect, but when I make a topic saying I think this (read: adult/human) character is hot, all of a sudden I live in a basement, and am a smelly virgin.

But then you get stuff like the topic above talking about a game that is prob made and loved by liberal furry lovers who love those indie tumblr like games with underage animal characters and all of a sudden porn for it is fine and ok.

Dude. This is an outrage/cancel thread. No one wants context.

I mean... look at the art style in the game? No surprise they're into some degenerate shit. Looks like some furry aficionado got their hands on one of those shitty American "how to draw manga" books from the 90s and went to town.

It's really easy. If it is straight then it is a disgrace, if it's gay/queer/trans then it is progressive and bold. Why wasn't there a big fuss about Life is strange sexscene depicting a 16 year old girl, but a hot 18 year old female anime character with big boobs makes woman feel weird and unwanted? That's right one of them had queers/trans in it the other a straight girl.

I guess Sony were not aware of this when they featured the dev so prominently. I hope they pay attention now, CP is no joke and should not be associated in any way with the PlayStation platform. Disgusting.

Sony higher-ups are probably into the same thing and the game is about the sexuality of high school age animal people. Twitter and the media are going to endorse the game because agenda trumps all and mainstream audiences wont probably notice anyway. Their opinions dont matter much either so I doubt anything happens. Hell, Disney brought back James Gunn once that shit storm blew over so it's not like these companies have any real morals to speak of.

The only outrageous thing is that this is defended by some of the same people who demonize anime games and depictions of sexy women in general, just because the writer is involved with a lgbt game..
...and also being criticized by people who are usually against censorship for the same reason.

Stop being hypocrites, it's not sexy.

NSFW
here is the original article with images if you want to make up your own mind.

For me, the scandal/hilarious incident, was that this article was posted on kotaku, the same website where Jason Schreier complained about Dragon's Crown characters looking too young.

like I said in another thread already,
many on here are literally the mirror image of Resetera, outraged at anything that doesn't fit their agenda.

they are just as ridiculous and they don't seem to notice

The outrage over her post/article is just as fucking lame as any other faux outrage out there.

She shared some dumb Misty porn, I bet she must be a real child molester 🙄 Someone better call child services 🙄

Random pic porn on Rule34 not make by her and all people attack her...

just search how many "erotic" fanfic on harry potter exist on the web. maybe your surprinsing.

Reading it, she doesn't come across as a pedo, just vapidly desensitised to sex and lacking any kind of moral compass or restraint over it, like about 90% of people in the western world.

Plus it's a game about insufferable teenage wankers with tumblr furry art. Did anyone serious expect that the people making it wouldn't be disgusting perverts?

It was an unnecessary, stupid, unhappy article and I'm sure the writer regrets writing it.
However just destroy everything this writer works on from now until the end of time seems a bit harsh.
I mean, I'm open to see people growing up, mature and just learn from mistakes.

That trailer and that part of the Sony event was a big L.

Anyway, it's funny when "SJWs" have to prioritize.

It's disturbing that this looks exactly like the drawings I made as a teenager.

While I agree, most of Sony's censorship involved anime of characters that at least looked like they were well under the age of 18 - some under the age of 13.

But, if you say "it's a magic girl whose body stopped at 12, but she's actually 1000", anything goes.
