Chances are, you are already douche.

25. University of Virginia
24. University of Texas
23. Randolph-Macon
22. Vassar
21. Trinity
20. Morehouse
19. THE Ohio State
18. Boston University (lol)
17. University of Chicago
16. USC
15. Notre Dame
14. Arizona State
13. University of Georgia
12. University of Phoenix
11. NYU
10. University of Colorado
9. Wasilla
8. Rollins College
7. Amherst College
6. Bob Jones
5. Deep Springs
4. Harvard
3. Princeton
2. Duke (only not #1 because the writer didn't want to rank them #1 in anything; received an honorable mention in almost every blurb)
1. Brown

I've known a few nice alum from Harvard and Duke, and I've dated a few nice girls from BU, but this is a pretty good list.

With so many schools in and around Beantown, it's not surprising there'd be some douchiness on the list.

How is Texas A&M not on there. It's a borderline cult and everyone I've known from there is a douche.

LIst is old, no? I remember seeing this years ago.

Also, list taught me what Deep Springs University was.

Perhaps its proximity, and perhaps its due to lack of prolonged exposure to the Eating Club culture, but I've found Princeton students to be normal enough.

NYU though deserves every bit of derision thrown their way. Spend $80K a year on a god damn bachelor's degree rofl.

Or Penn State. Penn State isn't even a borderline cult; it's an actual cult.

They're listed as an "honorable-mention excessive-school-pride institution" below us (Ohio State).

Which is crazy, because they're ten times as insane as we are when it comes to school pride.

Hard to tell with the way these slideshows are setup. Just saw it on my fb feed and thought I'd share.

Wow. My dad taught at Amherst, so I grew up there. Went to school in Cambridge and knew plenty of people at Harvard, my wife went to BU and my best friend at work went to Brown.

I'm surrounded by douches!

Would have liked to see U of F up there, just because I live near Gainesville, but in truth there's not much douchiness that gets out to the public and press. You don't find kids passed out on frat row every single night and it seems like everyone just smokes weed and tries to either get through school or save the world by small acts of liberalism.

I know it's a "thing", but are Ivy students really that "douche-y"? I've never met one in person, so honest question here.

On-topic with my school, 24th? Man, I thought we earned a little higher.

"Definitely douchey, but we're not totally sure why." Sounds about right. It's easy to define the parts, but hard to put a finger on the pivot.

No, just the kids that got in because they come from donor/alum families. The people that get in on merit seem pretty awesome to me, generally.

Penn State should be at the top of this list.

They should have been #1.

Lack of Penn State perplexes me.

Any reason for this? I'm not American and not affiliated with any American university, but my supervisor did quite a bit of research with one from PSU and he always seemed nice.

May ask him when he visits next time. Or not.

Can anyone post what the ASU slide says? I'm at work and on an out of date browser that won't load it up for me

That's hilarious about Duke. Only important part of the list, all else is irrelevant.

Go Heels.

This thread kind of encapsulates my experience with BU kids.

GQ on ASU said:
Home of: The "Show Us Your Tits!" Douche
Most likely to: Inadvertently find an Internet picture of that girl from your Robert Ludlum seminar, sunburned and topless while vomiting a melon-ball shooter through her nose.
Favorite pickup line: "I like your boobs."
Profiles in studentia: Roger McFeelings,* Cincinnati. "I had such an awesome time in Cancún. I got really fucking tan, the girls were hot, and the Ecstasy was almost pure. I was like, I wish Cancún was a college! Then I realized, it is!"
Honorable-mention "show us your tits!" institutions: Duke, any state school in Florida or Arizona, U. of Delaware, Dartmouth.
*We only wish there were someone named Roger McFeelings.

Are we a cult just because we like our school?

Judging a massive group of people by the few people you met is a good way to go though life. Hope the minorities you come in contact with are nice to you.

Don't they do this every year? And it's always the same colleges rearranged anyway.

Full disclosure: my college is featured.

UVA isn't really that douchey. People who say that focus on the preppy style a lot of people dress in and ignore actually interacting with the students.

I don't know anything about Duke specifically, but everyone I've ever met who went there has been super cool.

Now why Florida State isn't on there I have no idea. That was bar none the douchiest place I have ever been in my life.

Isn't University of Phoenix the one that does a shit load of online class advertising? I assumed it was an online only school.

They are throwing a lot of shade around.

Roger McFeelings,* Cincinnati. "I had such an awesome time in Cancún. I got really fucking tan, the girls were hot, and the Ecstasy was almost pure. I was like, I wish Cancún was a college! Then I realized, it is!"

*We only wish there were someone named Roger McFeelings.

So the name is fake but the quote is real? LULZ.
