This is my life now too since I picked up Narmaya and the new ssr cag, alternating between begging Celeste for anything but selfies and swearing at levi for dropping the wrong SSR.

On a brighter note my earth grid is coming along nicely and once I have time to get my fire grind on shiva should make yuel fucking shine.

This game is really pushing dark for me. Got Cerberus from yesterday's free 10-pull. Now back to farming levi and celeste and hoping that someday an SSR might drop.

Got Sethlans from yesterday's pull, I'm happy but now it feels like all this time I spent painstakingly uncapping and upgrading the Katapillar event summon was for peanuts. 50% aura at max cap against an immediate 60% at 0* with a 2% increase each turn. Well, I guess I always need the HP/ATK increases from the summon anyway...

His ATK/DEF debuff is really strong and stacks with Miserable Mist-type debuffs and throws in a dispel because why not. He also has a debuff resist down debuff with a heal. Also his atk/data or def increases every turn up to a decent amount.

And his ougi adds fire atk/water resist debuffs.

Downside is that apparently his fate episode is locked behind chapter 78 of the story.

Sounds pretty good, if only he had team DA/TA buff he'd be perfect.

So, I just got Typhon.

On paper, clearing all charge diamonds once sounds fine, but is anyone consistently using her? Can her call miss?

Seems like you could get some mileage out of her if it had a 100% success rate (Tia HL, maybe Xeno events).

Tbh I don't even know which SSR to pick anymore. I have most of the chars I considered staples back in the day, either from previous suptix or sheer dumb gacha luck. Only thing I can think of right now is filling in more dark SSR cause I only have Jeanne dark and lady grey, but ageless adolescent vampires really don't resonate with me even if they're really good...

Well I mean, there's always a character that I WANT, but when I use a special ticket I guess I can't justify me going for my husbando needs (otherwise I would have had -apparently- useless Vaseraga a million years ago) instead of considering kit usability. Yeah sure otherwise I suppose I'd just go for artwork and things like that. Not that there's anything wrong going for a character based on their artwork, it would be delusional to think it isn't a major part of the appeal, especially with the kind of money Cygames puts into GBF's art and sound assets.

That said, ignoring element, considering I got Yoda, Altair, Yngwie, Percival, Korwa, Gawain, Sara, Zeta (fire), Ferry, Jeanne, D. Jeanne, Nezcathuilpipitlo---Birdman, Clarisse, Lancelot, Sophia, is there anyone who is still considered a very important team staple anyone that can, SHOULD have? I remember while browsing this OT names like Albert, Narumeia, Petra, Vira being flung around a lot for instance, not to mention Vanpy of course even if I'm not super keen on getting her specifically with a suptix. I hear Amira comes highly recommended as well due to her transforming mechanic that I honestly don't understand completely.

If you want a couple of suggestions for each element:

Fire: Yuel(Bestestest), f.Societte(That erune dream team), Magisa for veil, Zahlhamelina for hosing wind.

Water: Romeo, Silva(On element CRIT CITY)/Lance(Steady DPS), Lily for longer fire fights. Skip Izmir, she comes in wand form now. Got all dude? Lilele might be okay-ish but better stuff to pick.

Wind: Whatever, I'm sure you'll come out on top.

Earth: Ayer, Hallessena, Razia/Sara to protect first two(Razia for DPS tank/Sara for overall damage mitigation).
-Earth De la fill for reasons, important reasons. None of which deals with gameplay. I guess she may save you some time by not having to Casino as much?

Light: Juliet for mad deeps since you already have Ferry. Albert(can be replaced with Lucio), Rosamia(Mask is sick looking)

Dark: I guess you can play this element without Zoi or other limited pulls, I guess.
Naru(Good but slow), Vira for HL veil and Vampy, I guess.
-Forte for bench sitting to take someone much later in the fight
-d.Zeta pretty good for on-element fights, like forte but no windup time.

Amira gathers so much ougi meter she feeds the rest of the team with meter along with shortening the cooldowns of her buffs. She's just one big ougi battery. Replaced mainly by Juliet/Ferry combo.

At the end of the day, pick what you want. You do you fam
Don't do that, pick Korwa, she's stupid good anywhere

Many thanks for taking the time to give me your suggestions! I didn't understand the De la Fille / Casino thing until I looked up the Earth version's passives, that sounds like an easy way to farm Anat (I'm too dumb/lazy for Casino games).

Through sheer luck in the Earth Xeno event I seem to have more skilled up earth stuff recently, so I might be tempted to get another earth character, but I already have so many decent ones. For personal reasons I also categorically refuse to stop using SR Soriz, whom I just finally managed to max max. Blame my awful tastes and all the people who in the last year screamed to the high heavens that he's SSR level.

I wish I could ticket Summer Zooey, but then again, wouldn't everyone? Same goes for most Grand series characters, a suptix exclusively dedicated to this category would sell like hotcakes.

I'd also like to know how they justified Romeo surviving his event.

Figured I could give GBF a little $$$ so I bought a surprise ticket and got this Korwa character that people keep talking about. Now to figure out how to use her in my lineup.

I main Fire myself, but only because I pulled Shiva with my first 10-draw. What are your characters and summons?

I will let the Water mains describe the current state of their element themselves.

My Plan was to suptix Altair so i have a decent water team and go with a levi grid, and since Altair gives me a fire weapon i could use that weapon in my fire agni grid.

Oh well, at least I have the char now, which kinda helps with the backstory of the "Table for Six" event we had earlier.

Dark rate up didnt lie for once, got myself Hades and Vampy. Btw how does hades grid look like ? I have one FLB gisla so I'm thinking about building Gisla grid if it's possible.

3 / 4 Gisla, Cortana/Cerberus' gun and Diablo's bow if you are crying for HP.

Man, I'm happy with the drops that I'm getting during Magnafest, but all of these Omega SSRs are fodders. My best drops so far are just Celeste Axe, Luminiera Sword and Luminiera Gun overall. But then again, can't complain with having a lot of fodders.

So I got Vira a little while back and picked up Dark Cag this legfest. As I also have three goddamn Yoda swords and a Bahamut dagger (thanks anniversary), I've got a pretty good start on a Dark grid for my casual-as-hell butt while I grind out Celeste.

So, I'd like to pick a fourth for a lineup for Dark, but I also do want to pick up Korwa in general, because Windmeme and also the general power of Korwa. My options right now are mostly Korwa and Narmaya, but I'm also wondering if I'm forgetting something. I have Grand Kat and Sara who I could use as off-element tanks, but I'm not familiar with potential tanks in Dark.

Basically, any suggestions for who I should go for? (The heart says Narmaya, but...)

I'd like to give you a recommendation but I have a few things to lay out on the table to help inform you.

First on the list, Korwa is a fairly good choice to have in the pocket, so you can't go totally wrong with her, no matter what. But that's not to say she is infallible. She takes time to get going to endlessly loop her buffs, upwards of 10 turns if she goes uninterrupted. This can make using her in shorter fights like story/leeching/CO-OP rooms a hindrance but for longer fights like Bahamut. Grand Order and other HL content, she'll earn her place at the dinner table.
Next, she helps bring out the power of the team's weapon grid, the more power behind her, the better she is. The inverse is true as well. Without numbers to support the insane buffs, you might be better off placing another character in her place for ease of use/damage since having Korwa on the field will lower your team's ougi damage, a main factor of early/mid game team's damage. Keep this in mind when building around for in the early game. For solo content you should be fine but for quick multiplayer stuff you may need to swap out to something else to grab quick honors with nukes and such.


And who to ticket in dark. Their all fine choices. I'll try and recommend some based on future directions you may take the team

Naru: Slow but powerful. If you aren't looking to quickly MvP raids but just want a solid dps unit, Naru will do you fine. The slow start up and low DATA(double attack/triple attack) are blemishes on this otherwise solid unit.
It's not like I would recommend her, you know, over anyone else ever. No, that'd be silly. Ha. Ha. Ha. Yeah...

Vampy: A more supporting attacker in dark but comes with dispel, a charm and a slow. She is also an unknown race, meaning she plays well with other race modifying skills like Bahamut weapons and even Naru passive. While not as favorable to use since summer Zoi's complete revamp of the dark end game, she is still a nice unit to have on hand for her utility and respectable damage.

Beatrix: A bit complex and luck-based, her main role is to protect Six(The guild wars character) and allow him to ramp up to super levels of damage. While Beatrix herself can pull out good damage and take a hit, she is a lot slower than Naru. Bringing her to most every day fights might be out of the question but with a little luck, she can become a juggernaut. If you plan to make Six, Beatrix could be a useful tag along. With that said, Six did get a lot better at protecting himself so she isn't required to have, just really nice.

Cerberus: Not even a character, yet.

d.Jeanne: Solid attacker that can still pull good numbers without building for enmity but performs much better when using them.

Lady Grey: Similar boat to Vampy, the extra support she brings isn't required for the most part and almost boarders on overkill, thankful her recent buffs have helped a bit. It's much better to fill this slot with a more dedicated attacker most of the time.

How amazing, realising more than a year later that putting Yoda's R skin on his SSR drastically reduces his ougi time... I could have saved so much time... ugh.

I know this is how I should do it but I somehow can't bring myself to. I'm sure after 200 000 000 000³ more ougis it'll pass.

I just started using Tyre for lolz during angel halo and his Vira voice ability is seriously creepy. That being said, what DOES happen should a Vira be in the party at that specific moment? I don't have any of them. Does she act her expected disgusted self?

She does not react to him but he does comment when Vira uses skills. Tyre also doesn't react to a skinned Vira&Katapillar on Vira.

Perfect. Then just start farming up modern Ecke Sachs, pick up a Xeno Ifrit axe or two in a few weeks, maybe buy an Athena weapon and you will be pretty much exempted from doing Colossus.
