In hindsight, that anomaly at E3 was probably something else, since all the other demo stations worked just fine. Probably wasn't calibrated before they went to the stage.

I think people were saying all the flashes from people's cameras gave off IR light, so they tricked the Wii Remote into thinking it was pointing at the sensor bar when it wasn't.
