So people are tied as king and yet one person is labeled king so the person who should also be king basically gets 30 points on top of being tied with you.

Wow. Fuck this playlist.

They need to port Sandtrap over and then make the Elephants into Dominion bases.

Capture the Elephant then upgrade it's armor and give it turrets. Then drive them at each other, turrets firing and everything

Finally got to play my first games online today, and Ive got to say that its been really fun. Connection has been a bit iffy, but overall its been an excellent experience. The only thing that bothers me in the game is not being kicked out of scope when you are being shot. I do not think the flinch mechanism works well enough at all.

Always has been and always will be. Halo and noted Halo 4 have always had superior netcode plus the game mechanics of shields actually help foster online play rather than always rewarding the good connection with kills etc.
Exactly why I don't play those games online.

Random aside: Some folks I haven't played with since MW2 defied all previous history and picked up Halo 4 instead of their usual fix this year. Got a big group going so I dropped us into BTB Slayer. Since some of them had never played a Halo game outside of a quick rental years ago they asked me what the differences were. I said that in this game, if you get shot, you can actually do something about it.

Seemed to set em off in the right direction, even if it did take some nudges to keep them from camping at the base in Ragnarok.

I really wish there was a place that compiled all of the commendation information into one easy-to-navigate place. Things like levels (X/5, X/7, etc.), how much of a certain enemy/medal/kill to achieve each level, how much each level is worth in XP, and the most efficient way to earn that commendation in matchmaking/Spartan Ops/campaign. The Official Halo 4 Prima Guide has a great spreadsheet of all the armor/emblem unlocks for commendations, however it doesn't include any of the above information.

I'd expect halocharts or halochallenges (or a site like those) to have this information available somewhere, or at least working on it. Anyone have anything or know of such a place?

The best part of sandtrap was people taking snipes/laser up the sand hills on the edge of the maps. You couldn't take 'em out but they could shoot you down no prob.

Spartan Ops is already good in my book, but I'll take better. Spawns are my only real complaint at the moment, especially in solo play. With some encounters, if you die once chances are you're going to die a few more times until you can GTFO.

Firefight is something I loved, but it did tend to settle into the same old groove. It was defense oriented and kept you mostly tethered to the supply crates. Spartan Ops at least gets you moving across the area and mixing things up as you go, and I'm appreciating that. Its also a decent danger room for testing out some loadout bits.

I would like MLG to keep personal ordnance, assuming it is tweaked to be more consistent and balanced. Would suck to see one team getting speed/needler when the other has the choice of damage or binary rifle, lol.

Instant respawn needs to die.

the most disappointing part of Spops for me is that the netcode is still really bad. I mean, realistically I didn't expect it to magically get fixed, but it would have been nice
