Have I been suspended from use of PSN?

***CRISIS AVERTED, PSN DOWN***

I turn on my PS3 this morning and i get this message:

Use of PLAYSTATION@Network has been suspended. Try to sign in again later.

Maybe it is obvious i've been suspended, but for what reason i do not know. I never cheat, i barely play games online (some of you on my friends list should know this) and I'm 100% legit when buying games, etc.

The only thing I can think of is if Sony randomly change their policy on game sharing, in which I only shared 3 of my PSN games out of 10+.

I'm giving Sony a call now.

Has this happened to anyone now/before? Maybe I'm retarded and total use of PSN is down for everyone? (I don't see a thread about it)
 
Try logging in on any other account (you do have one, right?).

Call Sony.

The only thing I can think of is that you used fake address/payement details on any region PSN (JP, US or EU).

I read on a forum last year that some people were getting suspended because of it.

edit: or not :lol
 
Getting the same message. It says try again later. Probably just a new type of maintenance message (implemented with the last firmware).

I believe there was network downtime during the space between 2.36 and 2.40, but that might hav eno been regarding it.

Then again does Life With Playstation even need a firmware update? Its juts a program that you download right?

Simply saying "Playstation Network is currently undergoing maintenance" would have saved alot of heart beats.
 
yeah I noticed this with my account this morning. I was about to freak out and ask what the hell. then noticed that the entire network was down. thank the gods.
 
Sucks me and a friend were just about to play Madden. I'm currently still on the PSN so as long as me and Queeg's don't sign out we can still play online but I have no store access.
 
So its too early for me to believe this is a Home Beta? 2.5 better have cross game voice chat. That will make my life so much easier.
 
I just logged onto the PSN,store is down still.
 
Quick, everyone get themselves in an angry rage and maybe Sony will offer a free PSN game!

Yes, I know, tiny outage compared to last holiday seasons XBL outage... but it never hurts to get mad early. :D

Ha, yeah I just got on too. Now to spot any differences. None so far (after all of 10 seconds) so back to Warhawk.

Actually, it won't let me on the Store. I get this:

An error has occurred.

What could it mean!? ;)

EDIT: Actually, can't get on WH. Dammit. :(

moving crap around and making sure the store can be access without much loading. and
adding ps2 games to the store
