There's a countdown timer at Havok's site.

Will it turn out to be

or

remains to be seen.

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
I still think Source has among the best physics in gaming. Maybe not in overall complexity and scope, but in motion and weight. Things fall and topple with a good sense of weight and mass in Source.

I'm really big on games pushing crazy physics stuff next gen, so fingers cross Havok bring the goods.

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
A lot of games still use Havok. Physx is proprietary bs anyway.

PhysX is a cross-platform middleware solution, not unlike Havok. The key difference is that it supports hardware acceleration and this requires an Nvidia GPU to function without an egregious performance hit.

I really liked what Havok was able to bring to TTT2. I will keep a eye on this. Seems like a great physics engine. PS4 and Havok seem like a good fit we have dat RAM.

I'm surprised DmC is on there considering that it's an UE3 game. I thought Physx was free with UE3?

0.1 FPS on 4 Titans.

well watching that made me realize just how far we still need to go, Systems wont be doing that even by next next generation.

in case people are wondering.. HL2 actually does not run Havok.. but rather a physics company gave the tech to valve.. which was then bought out by havok. Little historical details.. but yeah...

Give me a Trespasser 2 with Havok. :D

Oh lord, is there any chance we will ever see a Trespasser 2 or some kind of spiritual successor? I loved that game, would die for a second one with rift/hydra support and some next gen visuals.
