For JUST those games, there is the option of a (like-new) refurb console for $200, and IIRC Gamestop had Bayo 2 for $30. Not sure about any deals on MK8 though.

I'd be wary of cheap pro controllers online since there are fakes.


Waiting for Black Friday is probably the best bet though. Some store will probably have a good price on a Wii U + Bundle game + 1-2 games of your choice.

From what I understand, the best place to get a wii u is nintendo's store refurbished, but you won't be getting games with that. I don't remember seeing Wii U deals in the stuff that was posted earlier about upcoming sales, maybe I wasn't paying attention. Just keep your eye out on Black Friday sales? I dunno.

I'd go with the refurbished console from Nintendo's site. Pretty good deal. Also maybe they have refurb pro controllers by now.

As far as games go, im sure Black Friday/cyber Monday will have sales so maybe also wait until then to look at the console itself

Black Friday, mate. GameStop is going to have a Wii U with Smash and Splatoon for $280.

Though at this point you might be better off waiting a few more months to see if NX will be backwards compatible with Wii U games or not. Even if it isn't, Wii U will start seeing heavy discounts to make room for NX stock.
