As far as Google takes me into the past the first post I could find which featured that was the fanfiction Immortality Protocol around March 4th, 2011.

Some people joked about the line already back then, but the true birth of the meme itself was when @fanfiction_txt on twitter posted that quote on their twitter roughly 2 years later on April 30th, 2013. Ever since then it's become a widespread joke just for how ridicolous it sounds.

That's pretty much all there is to it, it's pretty much a joke fiction that got posted on a fanction quotes twitter and thus attained meme status.
