Great clip from the Tim Pool interview with Joe Rogan. You wonder who is reading Buzzfeed and Vice? They buy a lot of pageviews from click farms.

Yep. The internet business is full of tukhta.

Another thing I've seen is a company will buy another company (either a media conglomerate buying another, or a webhost buying another) and they will find out after the puruchase that many of the "active accounts" aren't actually active. They are customers/viewers who haven't shown any activity in months or years. But they're "active" because they still have an account or profile. Riiiiight.

nothing new to me. its so sad that the current internet is built upon snake oil, fake numbers, shady people.

instagram and all those social channels are rife with that bullshit.
