I got married 2 days ago in China and I can not be happier. I know I am using GAF now as some sort of special blog, but I just want to share that with you guys.

The wedding ceremony happened in Beijing and we had great weather (thank god). The ceremony itself was different from the ones I knew in Germany and it was more like a "show" for the guests with a host, but nevertheless it was great.
A great friend of mine even came from Japan to visit the wedding and my parents and little brother came from Germany to see it. I cant be more thankful to them and I realize I have a great family and great friends!

Right now I can not be happier with a ring on my finger.

Congratulations. All the best to you!

Please tell us in 1-2 years that you are still happy. You might contribute to restoring my faith in marriage.

Congratulation dude. Its good to see someone writing about stuff like marriage in a more positive way since many accounts just show the bad sign of it.

Having said, I still think Marriage is not suitable to me personally.

Did our China-GAF meetup at your wedding happen? No one showed up? I got the reminder on my phone...

How many hong bao and how much cash did you get? I'll send you another one over wechat.

Congrats dude.

Plain old internet.

Was using QQ (chinese ICQ) in 2009, we talked a lot and 1 year later in 2010 I went to China to meet her. From then on our relationship became stronger (also because it was a 7992km long distance releationship at times) and now here we are.

It's quite rare that a non-Chinese would use QQ. You two were very lucky I guess.

I hope you can actually be happier otherwise you're resigning yourself to it all going downhill from here. Congrats anyway.

Truly the most '21st century' a meeting story can be. What a time we live in, seriously. Really happy for you!
