I don't think 'being a jerk about it' is an issue . . . I just think that much of what many Christians do/believe/support is NOT in line with what Christ taught. Jesus seemed more of a socialist hippie hanging around with ho's and the poor. But somehow Jesus has been taken over bigoted war-mongering ultra-captalists. I've never understood that . . . and that almost overtakes my science as a reason why I left the faith.
