This is the best one IMO. Just change 3DS nubs to clickable sticks, add 2 scrollable and clickable shoulder buttons, and I'm in.

Usually internet mockups of devices come across as cool but in reality they look ugly. Expecting it to look just as bad as a wii u pad cut in 3.

All those, yet not one of them would work. It has to not be an ergonomic nightmare as a handheld and have two full, separate console controllers. The guys at Nintendo did not have the easiest of tasks.

Eurogamer's one of the outlets that has been rock solid with these console leaks lately. Kotaku has been just as reliable and has corroborated most of the info.

Why can't it be just the same size as an iphone 6/6 plus? The home button could be the analog nub, im sure four small face buttons could fit on the other side.

Instead of this monstrosity which is just way too big even for regular adult hands.

My expectation is somewhere near Vita size, but we won't know until we see it.

I agree, but for better or worse, they're there, so we can already eliminate all the designs that don't take that feature into account.

Added ergonomics and portability. The thing has to be flat to fit in your pocket, and if you want proper ergonomics the controllers cant be flat. So you just detach the controllers (which aren't flat) and put them in your bag or whatever.
