Really have no idea how people are misinterpreting the "U".

If you know anything about MH4 you know it has the subtitle "ultimate." If you played Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (The only Wii U one) you know it has the subtitle...well, "ultimate."

Let yourself interpret the information you're reading before getting hyped up, guys.
