It's a nice little hardcore RPG focused on customization and thoughtful decision making in combat, in a market where a lot of indie RPGs right now tend to be either randomly generated roguelikes, or RPG Maker endeavors with very little thoughtfulness put into their gameplay. If you are at all inclined to enjoy RPGs with meaty decision making, then I know you're going like this game, and we're also pretty proud of the charming and silly writing.

Its from the Titan Quest devs, but strangely enough its actually the game that manages to capture Diablo 2's feeling the closest for me from all the other entries in the genre.

Supposedly Gorogoa as well. Apparently the dev is finally done with the content, or at least in the last stretches. I still consider it among the most interesting concepts we featured in these threads and its a great example of an amazing game that no one knows about. Kinda weird to think the first demo was featured in the first of these threads 3 years ago.

Indeed, I have it filed under Vapourware in my big list of anticipated games. That's why I'm so happy to see The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human actually making it to release. There was another submarine game, sort of like underwater FTL that I was waiting for too. I believe it was called We Need to Go Deeper, but I haven't seen much of it recently.

Sub Level Zero does have absolutely amazing movement, but I have to admit I'm not super fond of the weapon and crafting system. Not enough variety and far too RNG heavy for my liking. Oh well, it is still in EA, and they certainly have the base for an amazing experience.

Oh hey, I remember seeing this in my queue and wish listing it. It looked highly similar to Path of Exile, even right down to the (IMO) bland and flavorless art direction . Comparisons to Diablo 2 hold a lot of weight for me because I absolutely devoured the game when I was younger (to an unhealthy degree). Definitely higher up on my radar now. Never did play Titan's Quest though.

The recent Talos thread got me to reinstall the game and get the Road To Gehenna DLC before the winter sale ended. I forgot how good the puzzles were. Simple puzzle elements - lasers, boxes, jammer, etc. - but the game masterfully combines them in such ways to make really challenging conundrums
