Is Retro Studios developing games for the Nintendo NX?

I really think that Retro Studios is already developing a videogame for the Nintendo NX! It's been along time since we heard something from Retro Studios. After they finished Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze they probably started a new project for the Nintendo Wii U or Nintendo NX. But I believe that they started a game for the Nintendo Wii U and then changed the development platform to the Nintendo NX.

That would also explain why we have not heard something from them at the E3 2015.

What do you think? Is Retro Studios already developing Nintendo NX games, and when yes, which game do you think are they developing, and which game do you would like them to make you consider purchasing a Nintendo NX?

But to answer your question: No. ND Cube is and will be the only studio developing games for NX. All we'll get are reskined versions of Mario Party. Ports of MP10 and AC: amiibo Festival are first tho.

I'm a bit perplexed why people are opposed to him recreating the thread but with a title that addresses the issue of the previous thread.

The topic itself is perfectly valid, and now the title is valid, as well.

That being said, I don't find the topic very interesting. I have no idea what Retro is doing, but it's likely for a console.

I have it on good authority that Retro is making games for NX already. A member on GAF named TheDarkTriforce made a thread with a title stating that they already were, but the mods changed the title to suppress information.

Usually Retro makes two games each console generation. For the GC, they had MP1 and 2. For the Wii, they had MP3 and DKCR. And so far on the Wii U, they have Tropical Freeze.

They should at least have one more game for the Wii U, shouldn't they?

From my understanding of the hints dropped by Tamaki about Retro's current project, they were developing a new game for the Wii U but something happened with NCL. Then either the game was cancelled or moved to NX (from what he said i'm more inclined to believe it was the former), but they won't develop anything else on the Wii U imho.
