With Mafia 3 out I wanted to play Mafia 2 one more time for old times sake.

I started up my PS3 and searched for the game in the store but instead of the 'download now' button I saw the title is for sale for 29,99 euro's. I remember I played the game when it was on PS Plus few years back so this really made me scratch my head.
I then looked at my downloaded list and after a long search could not find it. My transactions list does not display transactions before 11/11/14 and I'm pretty sure that I played this game before that date.
Luckily I note all my PS Plus games on a file together with the ones I buy myself on PS Store and there is was.

So, am I being paranoid? Am I overseeing things or are Sony really pulling titles to grab a quick buck?

Mafia 2 has been delisted and relisted since it was on Plus so will have a different page on the store, if you go through your download list it should still be there.

Looks like it. My sub ran out a few months ago, and some games are no longer showing up in my Library with a locked icon. Other PS Plus games show up fine, even though they're not installed.

Outlast for example is nowhere to be found in my Library.

Yeah, check your download list instead of the store page, should be somewhere in there

Look on your trophy list and see what the dates are for them. That will give you an idea of when you played it and check your download list.

Seems indeed the date was renewed. It shows 03/09/16 as date on my downloadlist so I looked over it as I was searching in the 2013/2014 entries.

Rehit download but it doesn't appear to be downloading anything at this point (EU server) and the logo is blacked out. Might have to wait a while.

I don't have a PS4 yet but I hope downloading older PS Plus titles is a lot smoother on it compared to PS3. This is pretty messy. The tool as posted by Lnds500 helps greatly (thank you!) but I hope Sony changed this for the better.

No, you cannot access them when you don't have PS+, but if you reactivate you'll get anything from your previous tenure available to access again.

Yes, the games are forever tied to your account you just need the PS+ sub to play them.

I remember getting the Simpsons Arcade Game on Plus a while back. It was a demo plus an unlock pass and I definitely played the full game.

Now when I go back I can see the Demo is still there but no unlock pass?

Anyone else seen this? I expect it was delisted but I've had uninterrupted PS+ since then so the unlock should still be available?

They changed the way Library displays games. It only shows your last X played games. Outlast is probably not within that threshold, so you'd have to select the "show all" type option.

the expiration date is the same date as when your sub is up. Not when they pull it from plus.

Since year 1, I have always had my CC set on my account. So it always automacally renewed in Dec. But this year I removed the CC info so I wouldn't be tempted to blow money do easily, and in case of hack. But it sounds like I should buy some PS+ time somehow or I might risk losing access to some random items permanently.

When you re-sub, you get back ALL your games, I'm 100% positive about this since I am PS+ member since year one and I've changed of PS3 a couple of time (and of HDD even more), I've also stopped my sub 3 times during everytime 2/3 months, and I always got EVERYTHING back.

For download my old PS+ titles on PS3 I always go on my download history on the PSN on the console, and ALL the games are always here, none disappeared, never.

Just because it didn't happen to you (or me) yet doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There have been people here saying that their games disappeared and that even when they contacted support they were told that it happens and that you should not let your sub lapse or it might happen again. I will try to find the thread again but so far no luck.

I've been using it a loooong time and I have never been "hacked" or anything.

You don't actually put your credentials in, it's a "button" which appears on the store website and it runs a script, categorising your purchases and then giving you a searchable index.
