I'm a bit skeptical with the 2nd hand and 3rd hand reporting in that article plus no CNN or US governement announcment.

Taking out leadership is effective, guys. The point isn't to expect them to suddenly pack it in but hurt them organizationally and depress their communication and morale. Bin laden'S documents detail how the drone strikes were wrecking the shit out of his organization.

Yeah. To use a sports analogy, it doesn't matter how deep your bench is. There's a reason your starters are your starters, and losing them is a big setback.

Also curious to see how Isis deals with its number one killer potentially being a self-hating closeted gay.

all signs point to him not being a member of any foreign militant group.. he most likely used that excuse to cover up the fact that he was gay. at least that's what the news is reporting.
