I only get the ones I'm interested in, and I never resort to going to scalpers, so I've paid retail price for all of them. I hope I can continue doing that! The only one that I really want but don't have is King Dedede. I thought my local store, who had stocked Amiibo before, would get it in, but they never did. By the time I went to EB, they were all gone. Really dumb move on my part. I also had a Rosalina preordered at one point, but Amazon.ca went and canceled her on me. I wasn't too upset since I figured that Nintendo would make a regular "Mario" series Amiibo of her, but that still hasn't happened yet...

Thirty isn't too crazy, I want some more but im not I'm a huge rush to get them. I've been trying to only get figures of characters I actually like as opposed to getting them all so thirty isn't tooooo terrible. Also 29 of them have black bases and look real nice lined up, which is a nice deterrent from buying too many others since they have red or green bases.

I have the majority of the smash ones, 3 pack splatoon, toad and 8-bit mario, the yarn yoshi ones and the 3pack with KK slider.

Thankfully I have no interest in the ac cards.

We've tried to avoid buying common figures like Mario, where we have a ton of other options to buy Mario toys. Avoided Samus and Toon Link, as we have superior Figma versions. Only missing a couple I wouldn't mind having, but I'm not exactly stressed about it.

I have Ike, Toon Link, Lucario and Yarn Yoshi (green).

Still in their packaging except Yoshi. I don't care about their in game use, I only have them to have game memorabilia on my game shelf. If I get any more it would be Shulk and Greninja/Charizard.

I only got 9, feels weird saying "only"

I have Smash Mario, Mario Party Mario, Rosalina, Peach, Squid, Smash Yoshi, 2 green Yarn Yoshis (1 for wife, 1 for son) a blue Yarn Yoshi and a Pink Yarn Yoshi.

Will likely be picking up some animal crossing ones next week as well. They are pretty awesome. Kids love them just to play with as toys.

Would have probably been more but I can thank scalpers for by and large killing most of the interest I had in collecting these. Still missing some like Lucina and Rosalina that really bug me, but refuse to pay more than msrp for one cause fuck rewarding that behavior.

I'm going to complete the Smash Bros. line and then step back for the most part.

I currently have every Smash Bros. amiibo except for the mii fighters. I just ordered Mewtwo and have Falco on pre-order. I also have the 3 Splatoon amiibo, 8-bit classic Mario, and Toad.

So 54/83 amiibo figures.

According to my spreadsheet (Yes, I'm that far in this hole...), I have 42 amiibo, including a falco preorder. I decided at some point I would only ever get one of any character, which is my only saving grace.
Though I am counting link/toonlink/wolf link separately so I'm not that good at keeping to that.

I have an unopened Tom Nook and the amiibo festival bundle, but I'm not sure if I'm going to open those yet. As much as I love the look of the AC amiibo, I'm not sure if I (1) like the direction of this AC series and want to financially support it and (2) I'm not rich.
