PC Gamepass and gaming from Windows 10 store for many is considered an afterthought compared to Xbox Gamepass, much of which is due to the bad rap due it gets from the awful (although I never personally had a problem with it) Games for Windows Live.
BUT there are compelling reasons to check it out if you have a decent PC.
My personal favorite reason is that many of the games present on the platform allow you to earn achievements, which can be use to boost your Xbox gamerscore and allows you to do it with all the bells and whistles provided by PC.
Games such as Gears of War 4 and 5, The Outer Worlds and all other Microsoft exclusives.
I recently played Metro Exodus, Metro 2033, Metro Last Light and just today Dishonored 2 and had a blast.
It's not a perfect system, in that you can't really mod the games and you can't back them up. Most importantly, the overall lineup pales in comparison to other platforms like Steam, GOG and even Epic.
I'd love to see other games end up on the Windows 10 store with achievements.
