I wasn't expecting to see that.

Thinking about the implications, its a second chance. Wether you agreed with what he did or not, its interesting to see. Now will they rehire Roseanne? lol.

If anything this may set a good example that people change or shouldn't be held to past mistakes. Maybe some of the wackos that are always after people for past mistakes will see this and think about it but probably not.

I didn't understand his past tweets and parties and I was pretty disturbed by them, at the same time they were known of before he got hired. It was a wacky situation. And if someone really does change they should have removed those tweets years ago.

Hey, now he directs both the suicide squad and guardians team up movies, lmao. Props to disney to admit their mistake at least, even if it took a while.

I just hope both movies will have a different feel between them.

GUess I was wrong on that but in the end I just wish they would somehow use the Flash Movie to reset this Universe. Keep the good and shitcan the bad. It doesnt have to copy Marvel but it has to be better than it is.
They would need a new Flash for that.
Current one is a dick head

There is no conspiracy. He has already started venting.

LOL @ the comparison to Tucker Carlson. Here's the difference dumbshits like Cernovich don't grasp - one guy apologized years ago for his mistakes, and one guy doubled down on his. That's the difference between someone trying to be a better person and someone being an irredeemable piece of shit like Tucker.

Yes! I enjoy GotG's style, and I'm glad the director is coming back.

Disney's decision to fire him always felt too hasty to me, but James Gunn handled it well and now props on Disney for redoing their decision.

good news for wealthy white male directors. always great to see Marvel's new diversity first initiative in action.

once again the giant corporation looks like social justice good guys by doing what they were going to do anyways.

Can’t tell you how happy I am. Disney are fuckers for getting rid of him anyway, I mean... I’ve made jokes in the past that would these days be serious no-no’s. It’s not about how you felt then, more so how you feel NOW.

Glad he’s back. Guardians 3 is going to be awesome... I hope.

Impressive mental gymnastics here.

Gunn apologized once he realized his job was on the line.

Curious to hear the reasoning from Disney. Flip floppin' all over the place.
Probably the fact that no one else wanted to pick it up and risk being the one to deliver an underwhelming sequel. I mean I dare say that there are people out there who could make GoTG3, but convincing them to do it is another matter entirely.

Normally, I'm opposed to outrage culture, but the shit this guy tweeted really, and I mean really, didn't sit well with me at all. And for him to be part of Disney? I'm surprised at the about-face. Borderline shocked.

If he's back, fine, their choice, but now Roseanne has to be given a second chance. I think it's safe to say that pedophiles are worse than racists.

I think this was a big factor. I think they wanted Waititi to do it and had him in mind from the beginning of Gunn’s exit but he threw a big wrench in that

I’m glad he’s back.

Is he still doing The Suicide Squad?

They probably couldn't find a better director and were afraid of losing money.

Are people not allowed to change and grow after 10 years?

So has their opinion on his actions changed? Or just their outlook for GotG3 profits? Did they even make a statement?

Gunn apologized before he was hired by Disney, Roseanne somewhat apologized because she had to but hasn't done much to redeem herself since then either. Your comparison is about as shit as the Tucker Carlson one.
