Nice hold for Pokemon and good hold for 3DS hardware. Not as much of a Vita boost as I thought.

I don't understand. Why are we using a Media Create Sales title and then putting up Famitsu sales numbers? Isn't that confusing? And are the hardware numbers based on Famitsu totals or MC totals?

Can't decide whether the Fatal Frame numbers are bad or not. On one hand it's a lower debut than FF2 or FF3 (both of which were around 40k), on the other hand FF4 debuted at 29k and went on to be the best-selling entry in the series. Plus this is a remake rather than a brand new entry.

Last week 3DS did 70k according to MC. Instead, we have 66k for Pokemon's week. So, they should be Famitsu hardware numbers.

Surprised 3DS didn't drop by a significant amount considering the LL announcement. Suppose the amount of software available has something to do with that.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Culdcept is performing nice, these niche titles really are selling well on 3DS so far. Calcio Bit could be the next performance surprise, demos and Nintendo Direct are definitely helping to get the word of mouth out for these games.

Rune Factory 4 and EO 4 should also perform healthy.

Fixed. Yes, Nintendo did also a specific Direct for Calciobit.

btw. ReRelease - Konami should think about a ReRelease of Love+, which fixes everything and could benefit from the 3DS LL launch.

Bad, very bad, even the poor Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D sold more.

It could have been worse, Fatal Frame 4 sold 29.869 units. Though I don't expect Fatal Frame 2 to have the same legs.

Vita 22k. Ouch. After P4, a new color and MGSHD? What's the next "big" thing for it?

Edit: No Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus. I think Nintendo should start a new wave of advertising for those 2 games.

Miku at the end of august.
I wonder if Vita sales can stabilize at +10k or if they will drop on pre-Persona levels soon. I guess it also depends on what kind of impact the 3DS LL launch will have on its sales, next two months could be horrible for Vita.
