"Wii Play continues to achieve an attach rate of over 50% to every new Wii hardware system sale. I can't think of another game that has ever had that kind of performance after 16 months at retail."

"At the title level, Lego Indiana Jones captured the top sales spot for the month at 1.1 million units sold across all platforms. As Iron Man did last month, mass-friendly titles are a perfect fit for the still healthy PS2 platform, and the PS2 version of this game grabbed a spot in the top 10 list."

Accessories

"Accessory sales growth slowed slightly this month but still increased 25% over last June. Accessories for the Wii contributed one-third of total category sales, and the new games and accessories that Nintendo announced at E3 should engender future accessory sales."

I'm gonna venture to say that bundles pushed around 180k more unis of MGS4. It was a 5 week period after all.

About ~230K of the 405K that PS3 sold for the month was the MGS4 bundles. Nice SW numbers for MGS4.

GTAIV out of the top 10 in less than 2 months = I said wow. Of course, there are some pretty good sellers on PS3 and 360 this month to take its place.

I'm honestly shocked that Ninja Gaiden 2 > Battlefield.

Yeah, delayed thread. Had some server downtime problems right around the time the numbers came out and didn't notice the report. Sonycowboy usually lets me know in advance when he can't be around to make the thread. So about an hour late.

Nice PS3 and MGS4 sales. Ninja Gaiden II did nicely as well. No need to mention Wii and DS, as expected. And is that a random PSP bump?

Nintendo dominates as usual
but the real story here is MGS4 and sales bump for the PS3.. good show on both products, i wonder if it has the legs though.
360 is just there as usual
PSP gained a nice bump.. i think (did they get a bundle or something)

Also, the PR from the three companies is going to be EPIC!! No way Nintendo is done rubbing it in MS's face that they erased a year deficit already and Sony... oh boy, time to break out the Jaeger, Jack! :lol

I didn't buy Ninja Gaiden 2 and saved my money for MGS 4.

Microsoft needs to fix their sku pricing. $ 299 for a 20GB is a good price, but if they finish that line and start $349 for 60GB, they will be in the same problem they are now.

uh, what Japan PS3 numbers? That MGS4 is at 576k? I think that number is outdated by about a week or two depending on which tracker you're using. It's around 626k if you use MC or leaked Famitsu numbers.
